Hello, my name is Jemma. I set up Wilde Lodge with my husband (a builder.... useful!) 7 years ago. Our aim was to provide a venue that would focus on each couple. Providing somewhere they could really sink into and be as flexible as we humanly could, without loosing the level of service that we believe you need when planning a wedding. Since we have been running the lodge we have said yes to most requests, drinks by the river, canapes on the motte and bailey mound a change of wedding location 2 hours before the ceremony! And we can do this because we are small enough to care, we don't churn out weddings week after week, we have a team that are highly skilled and we provide a venue that always calms a couple into planning a more normal, relaxed and charming wedding that just flows with the pace of the nature its surrounded in. I deal with all of the initial enquiries, you are then looked after by a dedicated wedding coordinator who will help you with all of your planning and be the same person from start to the day of your wedding when they then hand you over to our dedicated front of house. Our front of house are then fully briefed by the wedding co ordinator and will take care of you and all of your needs whilst you are on site. We care about what we do here, we care about making sure you have a really memorable wedding celebration.
