We specialise in civil ceremonies and partnerships and our central Dartmoor location makes us an exceptional wedding venue. We can accommodate both small and intimate weddings, and large and extravagant celebrations. The Two Bridges Hotel has a variety of rooms licensed for your wedding ceremony and reception. Our main civil ceremony room is the Tors Room, which overlooks the front lawns and the West Dart River . The golden chandeliers twinkling, the glow of candlelight from the candelabras, oak panelling and Georgian ceiling, all add up to create a stunning setting.
Alternatively, you could take advantage of the beautiful location of our Riverside Pagoda and exchange your vows outside. Located to the left of our famous bridge and by the sparkling river, this outside location can offer the perfect photo opportunity when you say your “I Do’s”.
Our Executive Chef Mike Palmer has put together an extensive wedding menu for you to choose from, using the best, freshest and most local produce possible. We also offer drinks packages, including welcome drinks, wine with the meal and toast drinks. Evening guests can also be catered for with your choice of finger buffet, our Westcountry table or hog roast. The Fountain Room is the main room used for your Wedding Breakfast and evening celebrations. Four sets of patio doors open onto your own beautiful private garden featuring an ornate floodlit fountain, which sets the perfect backdrop to the top table. Guests will sit at white clothed tables, which can be decorated to your wedding style, before dining on your choice of award winning food.
As the day celebrations turn to the night, our expert team will re set the room with its very own dance floor, ready for your guests to dance the night away!
Looking for a quieter lounge for the grandparents? Do not fear! The Music Room will also be available for you to relax and chat to your family away from the DJs beats!
There are 32 individually styled hotel bedrooms combining modern facilities with traditional charm. From four poster suites with Jacuzzi baths, to family country rooms, all of your guests’ needs are catered for.

What is the maximum number you can cater for?
We can cater for up to 130 for the wedding breakfast.
Do you allow professional firework displays at your venue? Yes absolutely!
Do you include a cake stand and knife if required? Yes we have beautiful silver ornate stands and can also supply the knife, just ask!
Do you allow confetti to be thrown? Yes we welcome confetti, however we prefer biodegradable / environmentally friendly confetti due to our Dartmoor location.
