A Grade II* listed former cotton mill dating back to the eighteenth century, it is ideal for couples seeking a truly unique wedding venue, in a historical setting, for their special day. Lovingly restored and converted, this romantic, industrial-chic event space overlooks the River Goyt and provides a bespoke backdrop with endless, individual, photographic opportunities to capture memories to treasure forever.

The main Cotton Mill provides light, airy, spacious surroundings, specifically designed to offer a blank canvas and therefore allows couples to create their own magical wedding wonderland. Licensed for civil ceremonies, the Cotton Mill has a capacity of up to 150 guests for a ceremony and seated meal and up to 300 guests for more informal catering. It boasts an beautiful array of industrial heritage and architecture including barrel vaulted ceilings, exposed stone walls, original beams and cast iron columns. Neutral tones blend beautifully and features include the Mill Bar, colour mood lighting, a spacious dance floor area, cutting-edge sound equipment and wireless microphones available to facilitate speeches, DJs, and live entertainment.

There are two large outdoor terraces - The Weaving Shed and The South Terrace - both are perfect for taking in the idyllic surroundings. The Weaving Shed is a rustic, magical, festoon-lit outdoor space, with views of the iconic Millennium walkway. The South Terrace is an outdoor highlight that features exposed brickwork, riverside views and provides a tranquil platform to relax. Both terraces offer gorgeous outdoor areas, made for canapés, drinks receptions and photographic opportunities.

Completing this unique venue are five luxury self catered cottages, accommodating up to 19 guests. Steeped in history and retaining many of their original features, they are cosy and welcoming, providing the ideal place to stay as your day draws to a close.
