Information For The View

Formerly known as the Fairway Tavern, the Williams’ family took over in November 2017 with a plan of something special.

Our Function Suite is hidden in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside overlooking the stunning views of the golf course. We have a professional team on hand every step of the way with useful advice and assistance in the planning and execution of your special day.

Our aim is to deliver each and every event exactly the way you want right down to the finest details, leaving you to relax and enjoy the day.

Our Suite accommodates up to 120 guests for a Ceremony and Wedding Breakfast and up to 250 for an evening reception. You also have the option to marry outside in our beautiful pagoda under the warm summer sun and enjoy the space for drinks and photographs on our lawn.

Hosting weddings receptions and other special occasions is one of the most rewarding services that we engage in and we’re very proud of the response we’ve received from our clients.

We recently had our wedding at The View and honestly it was the most perfect venue. Thank you to Laurie who helped myself and my mum organised the day. You listened to what we wanted and made it happen, it was everything we wanted and more. The food was delicious and all our guests have been commenting on how much they enjoyed it. Had our wedding here 08.09.18 , well what can I say . The wedding organiser Laurie , was the best replies quickly at emails , always answering my questions made it very relaxing and the planning went well she is also a very lovely lady . The day was out of this world we had nothing to worry about when we got there there was welcome drinks the room looked beautiful exactly how we had asked it , guests felt very welcome . We had Janay on the day to help us through well this woman needs a promotion she was outstanding everything run on time , she made sure are husband and I was ok , she run around doing everything , really made our day extra special we was in good hands . Food was piping hot and delicious our guests was very impressed , the grounds so spacious. Everything was perfect do not hesitate to book your wedding here , you won’t regret it and will have the best day of you life . Thank you to everyone at the View who made our day happen xx

We got married at The Fairway Tavern on the 15th September 2012. We could not fault a single thing! Venue is perfect. Food was amazing. Staff were exceptional. Rooms were clean,comfortable and all have stunning views! Breakfast was tasty. In one word FLAWLESS!!
