Well where do I start? I remember the first time I ever visited Pat at her beautiful home, sadly we were re-homing our beloved Springer Spaniel at the time & we were taking her to meet Pat & see how she would get on...luckily she fitted right in & since then Pat & has been a close family friend. If I'm right I was about 14/15 years old at this point & I remember saying to my Mum on the car ride home that I'd really love to get married at the Secret Garden...my Mum giggled & said I'd need to find someone mad enough to marry me first. So that's what I did...que Nathan whos just as mad as me Eventually after getting engaged in 2016 & the birth of our son in 2018 we arranged to go visit Pat & also look around after I kept banging on about how beautiful this place was to Nathan...it's safe to say he fell in love with the venue (which I knew he would) & just over a month ago now I finally got my wish... On July 20th 2019 my husband & I had the honour of becoming Mr & Mrs Cain at The Secret Garden, Gringley-on-the-Hill I honestly cannot express how happy Pat & all her team made me not only on our special day but with the run up aswell. They all worked amazingly hard all day & for that I really can't thank them enough. All we've heard since was how beautiful the venue was, how the kids who came & celebrated with us all loved it & how relaxed everyone was made to feel. This really does mean to world to me because that was the whole vibe of the day & really what I wanted from our wedding. I could waffle on for hours here, but to sum up.... Firstly I'd like to say a massive THANK YOU to Pat & all the staff, you all truly made the day amazing! & Secondly as I'm sure you've guessed I cannot recommend The Secret Garden enough! I'd you want a relaxed garden wedding this is the place to go! Everywhere was stunning & exactly what we wanted! We even had an ice cream cart which all the kids loved (& adults too)...nothing was too much for Pat & her team! Just amazing! All our love, The Cain Clan

I would like to say a big thank you to Pat and her team for all their help with the wedding planning! It's been a fantastic day and we honestly couldn't have asked for anything better. Lots of our guests told us our wedding was different, but better than any of the weddings they had previously attended and this wouldn't have happened without Pat's flexibility in allowing us to design the exact day we wanted, without a structure set in stone for the day or a package. The pets were a bonus, I absolutely loved the cat popping up during the ceremony and I know the guests loved taking photos with the chicken while they were waiting :) We would do it all again in a heartbeat!!

we had our wedding at the secret garden this September. The whole experience has been fantastic from start to finish. Pat and her staff make you feel amazing, the place is beautiful and we wouldn't of wanted to go anywhere else. A truly wonderful place that made our day so special and memorable for all the right reasons.

We recently held our wedding at the secret garden and it was the most beautiful day. One to remember for the rest of our lives. Everything ran so smoothly, pat and all the staff were warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The venue was absolutely stunning and we got some gorgeous photos. We had so much positive feedback from our guests and would highly recommend anyone thinking of booking this venue to do so. It was a perfect day!

We got married here on the 1st September 2018 and it truely was one of the most magical days of our life. From our first meeting with Pat two years ago to today she has been fantastic!! So professional and always there to help, advise and answer questions along with her colleague Rebecca. The actual day went amazing we really couldnt have asked for more, from the moment we woke up to getting in our taxi at the end of the day i dont think the smile left our faces. There isnt one thing we would change about our day and would 100% recommend The Secret Garden as a wedding venue. All of our guests have commented on how amazing the venue was also and loved the 'silent disco' i think our wedding will be spoken about still in years to come. Where do I start....as soon as we found this amazing venue online we knew straight away we had to take a look in person! We didnt look anywhere else and fell in love. The day was exactly how we wanted it and all the guests asked how we found it. The grounds are kept imaculate and its great knowing you are the only people there (no other weddings take place the same day). Everything ran smoothly and we had the weather on our side. If only we could do it all again.

We have just had our amazing Wedding here at The Secret Garden and it will be remembered for years to come not just by us but by us all. Such lovely gardens, grounds and staff, Pat is amazing and helped us out loads on the little touches we needed. She knows how to look after her guests and for that we thank you. Dougie was a hit with the kids and the silent disco was a huge hit by all. Everyone we have spoken to since have said what a amazing place and such a relaxed atmosphere it was. Had our wedding reception here, it was a dream... the staff can't do enough for you Pat is really the best and I can't recommend her enough everyone of my guests have said what a great time and how lovely the gardens were, if your looking at booking here then do it you wouldn't regret it and where else do you get to plan the day exactly how you want it!
