Unique wedding venue in Rochdale, located northwest of Manchester. The Royal Toby was a former manor house built in the Edwardian period. Formally the manor house stable block, our newly refurbished Rhyddings function suite provides an excellent venue for your civil ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast, and evening celebrations. The Rhyddings suite is fully self-contained with its own kitchens, dance floor, bar and cloakroom facilities, offering you and your wedding guests exclusive use and all the privacy and personal service that affords. The Study, located in the original manor house building, provides an elegant venue for a civil wedding ceremony. Leading from the former ballroom, its stunning 1920’s Art Deco style interior reflects the grandeur of the building’s history. Known for our excellent hotel restaurants, our chefs offer a modern British wedding breakfast menu, using quality produce and meats from our very own Deckers Butchery. Relax and prepare with your bridal or grooms party in our exclusive, self-contained Bridal Lodge. We take great pleasure in being involved right from the very beginning of the planning stages right through to the big day where we get to see all of the planning and hard work come to life! We have the knowledge, passion and confidence to make you feel at ease and it is our priority to make this process as stress free as possible for you. If you'd like to arrange to come and see us for a relaxed drink and a chat, whether it be outside in the sunshine with a glass of Pimms or inside next to our cosy, open log fire with a glass of wine, you will always receive a warm welcome from us.

Got married on 30th November at the Royal Toby.Chelsea was our wedding planner,i can not thank her enough she was fantastic so proffesonal,nothing was to much trouble for her.The venue was dressed beautiful the food was amazing the DJ played exellent music .Alan the toast master did a fantastic job.Mark the wedding photographer was brill .and morgan piano played so beautiful. I can not recommend booking your wedding here enough.

It’s been a hell of a ride!...

Our coordinators Jordan and Chelsea have been unbelievably wonderful. Chelsea has now taken over our booking and has really had a lot to contend with during this pandemic. But an hours video call with herself and my fiancé really reignited that excitement that had started to dwindle due to a postponed day. Amazing venue, our favourite place to dine too.

We would like to say a huge, heartfelt thank you for making our wedding day so special. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The food was delicious, the room looked amazing and DJ Chris had the guests leaving up to the dance floor. Thank you Joe for making the day run so smoothly, we would have been lost without you. We'd also like to say a massive thank you for allowing our lovely dog, Finley to stay with us when we were let down by our Kennel, you saved the day there and it was an absolute treat for us to be able to have him in our wedding photo's. We can't praise you all enough for making our day so magical.

It was absolutely amazing!

We have just got married here and I can say it was absolutely amazing! From our first visit to the wedding open evening the staff have been so brilliant Chelsea and Jordan our wedding planners couldn't of been more helpful I also want to thank Shauna our waitress on the day she made us feel so special our wedding organiser on the day I've forgotten his name (sorry) but I'm sure you'll know who I'm talking about he talked us through everything and what was going to happen and took control so we didn't have to worry about a thing also the rest of the staff who worked that day so nice and helpful. We hired a singing waiter to perform during our meal and the you was so accommodating to him and Dave who we hired to put some uplighting in they both commented how helpful the hotel was. We also stayed at the lodge the night before it was brilliant we had the full thing to ourselves my bridesmaids loved it it's s so nicely decorated and looked great on the pictures lots of room to get ready We had a meal at the cenetta restaurant the night before with family the food and service were brilliant. I would highly recommend to anybody thinking of booking a wedding here. Thank you everyone xx
