The Palace Hotel in Buxton has been an important building in the town since 1868. Located in over five acres of beautiful landscaped gardens.
The Palace Hotel is a stunning hotel is perfectly seated on the edge of the Peak District National Park.
The venue is a romantic and picturesque venue for your wedding, and with wonderful views of the National Park our hotel is the most popular choice for weddings in and around the area.
The Palace Hotel also has a striking Victorian façade which provides you with a stunning backdrop for your wedding photography. We also have three unique and gorgeous function rooms available for you to choose from which feature stained glass windows, extravagant décor and beautiful views across our grounds.

We couldn’t have asked for a better day and evening, from the staff the catering and down to our guess being checked in, everything was done brilliantly..

Our Wedding co-ordinator was amazing
Had our full wedding ceremony at the Palace with afternoon tea for our 120 day guests followed by an extra 70 at night with bacon and sausage sandwiches and chips,
our wedding co ordinator was amazing with the help & extras we needed as were all the staff on duty on the day always there if we needed anything. the catering staff were 100% on allergies, vegetarians, gluten etc.
We booked out 25 rooms for some of our quests who wished to stay and all the rooms /suites had been refurbished, breakfast in the morning was a fabulous hot buffett with food being replenished all the time. Parking was free if you registered your vehicle at reception.
Would highly recommend the ball room for all your party needs

Our day and night was perfect !!
Me and my husband had our wedding reception and evening do at the palace hotel, the planning was simple and straight forward even tho we didn’t have a clue what we were doing, the room was dressed beautifully and the food was marvellous. We had many guests booking rooms and it was all arranged with ease.. we stayed over the night before the night of the wedding in the bridal suite which was lovely.. the staff were extremely helpful and attentive.

A Day We Will Both Never Forget
Well what can I say me and my wife got married at the Palace hotel back in late June last year it was a day that we both will never forget from the time we arrived on the Friday till the day we left on the Monday to go off on honeymoon the hotel was fantastic the staff to the lovely food and our wedding suite was amazing I can not thank everyone at the Palace enough you was all brilliant and to the chef a big thank you as well for just marvellous meal on the wedd reception and evening buffet me and my wife have visited the Palace in the last year around 20 times now and will be visiting lots again this year.
The hotel is so special to us both & I must say a big thank to Fiona and Hayley for looking after over the wedding & when we arrive every time we decide to visit.

A Wonderful Experience
We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the palace hotel. All the staff were friendly helpful and hard working. Especially Fiona whom was with us from start to finish with planning and great advice. The rooms were great and the breakfast was delicious. We had steak and ale pie for our wedding breakfast everyone said it was amazing. The rooms were massive and staff were fast to act on anything we wanted or needed. The bridal suite was a great size and beautiful home from home.

A massive thank you to Haley and Richard!! I recently had my wedding at The Palace Hotel, it was such an amazing day! Richard our host for the day was wonderful! Nothing was too much, he was very attentive! After weeks of organising Haley made me feel at ease and made wedding preparations less stressful!! Would highly recommend and will be returning!

Our wedding was amazing from planning to finish. Fiona is great and has the best advice. Our family and guests thoroughly enjoyed our full wedding ceremony and reception at the palace. Staff were all absolutely amazing at a very busy hectic time of year....nothing was an issue. The bridal suite is gorgeous with a light up jacuzzi bath ...what every bride needs the night before her wedding! Richard and Fiona ensured our day went without any problems and made us all feel so special and welcome. The food was delicious and served impeccably. Highly recommend and we would do it all again!

The perfect day
My husband and I got married at The Palace Hotel on 12/05/17. The day was truly magical. Everything ran so smoothly and that is thanks to the hotel's amazing staff. In particular Fiona, our wedding co-ordinator and George, our incredible toastmaster. Nothing at all was too much trouble for either of them. They genuinely cared and wanted to make sure we had our perfect day. We definitely did!! The turn around of rooms was so well done, the food was simply gorgeous, we've had so many comments off friends and family!, tge added touches were fab too. The bridal suite was lovely (the only suggestion for improvement would be to add a bridal hook or rail to hang your dress on!) The grounds and hotel itself are stunning also, which made for fantastic wedding pictures. Thank you Fiona, George and all the rest of the team that helped make our day so special. I would recommend a Palace Hotel wedding in a heartbeat. Louise and John Welsh.
