Alex and I have been together for 13 years, we originally met at high school in Dorset England. We have been through so much together, relocated to the USA together for a few years and have had many fantastic experiences. However, the last few years have been tough, last year Alex’s dad unfortunately suffered from a sudden stroke and ended up in a local care home at the age of 65. My brother who has Asperger’s unfortunately had a psychosis episode at the same time so we went through alot together and we look forward to next year being a more positive time where we can final spend a day focusing on us and our love for each other. Once married I will be taking Alex’s last name of Joy so our entire wedding will be themed around happiness and Joy Our venue is The Orangery Suite in Merley, Dorset UK. They have recently been taken over by new owners who are determined to bring their passion, joy and enthusiasm to their role in co-ordinating the wedding. They have already gone above and beyond to help us especially as we have been going through so much and we cannot thank them enough! Awesome team!

We are so excited to get married at the orangery suite. From the moment we first contacted them regarding a viewing they have been unbelievable with their communication. It’s a lovely venue and run by the family which just makes it feel extra special. They have also been really accommodating, letting my family visit for a second viewing and helping us involve our gorgeous pooch Albie. Can’t wait for the big day!

The Orangery is stunning! Comes with a million things to do there and is so reasonably priced. They have a bar and provide some staff, but they also let you serve your own drinks and bring in your own caterers, so you don't have to pay an arm and a leg for food, either. We can't wait to get married there.

Stunning outdoor venue
The orangery suite is a beautiful venue that can hold the ceremony outside. There is an inside venue on-site in the case of rain. The gardens are absolutely beautiful with green grass, trees and flowers. Not only are there plenty of photo opportunities with hanging photo frames, a human size bird cage, a bride and love seats but there is plenty to keep your guests entertained while you’re busy with your photographer with outdoor games like chess, badminton and four in a row. Once the ceremony is over and the photos have been taken, you can step inside the stunning marquee for your wedding breakfast
