Nestled in 865 acres of land, surrounded by pebbled beaches and picturesque coastline, the historic venue is steeped in heritage and is one of the most exclusive wedding venues in Cornwall. Set in breathtaking surroundings and an enchanting period venue that can provide the perfect canvas for your dream wedding reception. We have a choice of settings from our large formal round tables with white crisp linens, to our rustic oak wooden tables that you can shape to suit your guests and table plan. We can seat between 40 to 120 guests for your wedding breakfast and accommodate up to 200 guests for your evening party. The Orangery and its Italian garden are encapsulated by mature bay trees, providing The Orangery with the utmost privacy and a true sense of grandeur and exclusivity.
The Orangery itself basks in elegance and beauty, with floor-to-ceiling windows and doors offering stunning views of the Italian garden and its famous 'the mermaid water fountain'. Outside offers a perfect place to sit with your guests sunshine or toasting champagne under the stars. The backdrop of this Orangery is truly like no other, with the ocean one side and formal gardens on the other.

We are so thankful to Michelle and the team for making our wedding reception so special, we wish we could do it all over again!
Michelle and her team are so organised! From the initial meeting to leaving on the night of our reception we had such a smooth experience and would recommend it to anyone. The transformation from restaurant to a reception venue was amazing. There was no hard pushes on anything and everything we wanted was catered for. As we got married in June we went for the BBQ option which can be quite tricky with a fare few of our guests having dietary requirements but this didn’t cause any issues and they were all well catered for. The kitchen did an amazing job. We also chose not to have a DJ at the reception and played our own music through the sound system at The Orangery. It can all be through the building, so one side could be loud whilst the other side could be quieter. This meant our guests could talk and catch up.
