We are organising our wedding for 2026 and wedding venue viewing was relaxing and very informative

We had our wedding reception in the Piping Centre in July 2019. We chose it after attending one of the wedding open days and we loved it from the start! We were blown away by the service from all the staff. It was the same staff members that dealt with us from that very first day of viewing right through till the day itself. The simplest part of our wedding turned out to be the organising of the reception. The staff responded to every email very quickly that we sent and everything was made so simple for us. On the day itself, the food was fantastic and the service continued to be brilliant. Our guests are still talking about our reception. The venue itself has such a warm and friendly atmosphere and we just felt instantly at home there. We cannot thank the staff enough for making our day so memorable!

The service could not have been more professional, friendly and wonderful. The team went out their way to ensure everything was perfect from the decoration, to a special whisky for a grandparent and tracking down the one vegan guest with canapes just for him! The team went above and beyond the whole day - and weekend - to ensure that it was the day of our dreams.

They answered every email so promptly, and we're always there when I was having an indecisive moment. They made everything easy in the run up to the big day.

It all ran so smoothly, it was fantastic.

Also wanted to say again a massive thank you for all you and your staffs hard work. We had a fantastic day, honestly dont think it could have gone any better, my head didn't think so the next day.

Couldn't have imagined having our day anywhere else. Just perfect.

As you know myself and Tom got married in Italy and were looking for a venue to hold our wedding reception in Glasgow on our return.

After reaching out to multiple venues in the Glasgow area we found the National Piping Centre to be the perfect choice. It was central, well priced, appropriately Scottish themed (considering many travelling were from England) and the perfect size for our numbers.

The staff at the venue could not have been more helpful on the day and also leading up to the party.

We were delighted that you could organise a piper to play at both our wedding day in Italy but also at our reception in Glasgow, gave advice on some local DJ's and also made sure all the hall was decorated the way we requested.

We are so thankful that we made the excellent decision to hold our wedding reception at the National Piping Centre! Everyone was exceptionally friendly and helpful as we navigated our way through the process, and especially given that we were arranging it all from the other side of the Atlantic, we were delighted by how responsive and thoughtful they were throughout all the decisions, changes, and tweaks along the way!
They hosted our very closest friends and family for the days immediately surrounding the wedding, including the lovely touch of decorating the breakfast table the next morning with flowers from the reception. Everyone waxed lyrical about how kind and welcoming they were, attending to every need and making everyone feel so comfortable. We really appreciated their care and concern for all our guests, especially my wife's elderly grandparents.
The wedding day itself was perfection, from the piper who greeted us at the door and piped us into the reception right through the last dance of the ceilidh. The food was absolutely delicious, too, and the hall was set up beautifully, giving ample room for dancing as well as a warm atmosphere for plenty of mingling amongst the guests. Most of all, and most importantly, both we and all of our guests felt incredibly welcome and at-home the entire day, with the staff going above and beyond to take care of everything. We couldn’t have imagined having our wedding anywhere else!

Stewart and I just want to say a very big thank you for making our wedding day and evening party so happy and relaxed. It was everything we hoped for and more.
All of the staff were exceptional - friendly, helpful and efficient at every turn. The restaurant and ceilidh room looked amazing and the food was first class. It wasn’t just us that thought so. Many of our guests commented on how great a venue it was and how lovely all the staff were. Lots of them plan to visit again!

We also want to say thank you for helping us plan the day. We had half an idea of what we wanted - a simple ceremony at 23 Montrose Street followed by a small, informal gathering of family and friends for a meal and then a big ceilidh at night. But you really helped us bring it all together. We liked how flexible everything was, including the menus, which gave us the chance to make the day our own. We loved we could bring in our own fizz and wine and pay corkage. It meant our champagne reception in the restaurant was a real highlight.

Nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble. We brought in lots of our own fresh flowers, confetti and fairy lights and had favours for the tables. All of that was taken care of by the staff and presented perfectly. The National Piping Centre also represents exceptional value for weddings. We managed to achieve our perfect day ...all within budget.

We honestly cannot think of a thing we would change. We have many happy memories of the day which will stay with us forever.
