Set in the heart of The New Forest, Hampshire in the picturesque Beaulieu village, The Montagu Arms is a luxury wedding venue where romance and history entwine.

Steeped in 17th century history, our beautiful country house hotel is available for intimate wedding celebrations as well as private exclusive hire for your quintessential English wedding.

Have your wedding ceremony in either the opulent Terrace Restaurant, with views across the elegant English gardens, The Oakwood Room boasting parquet flooring, oak panelling and a cosy crackling fire or an intimate ceremony in the Paris room making for a cosy setting for your dream wedding reception and ceremony.

The Terrace Restaurant offers an unparalleled dining experience for your wedding day. Expect modern-British dishes fused with delicate touches of innovation and an exciting range of flavours, textures and aromas; food you will be talking about for years to come.

We have 33 en-suite bedrooms, all different, some including four-poster beds, and every one designed to make you feel completely at home.
Outside is just as restful. Dine al-fresco for your wedding breakfast in our Gertrude Jekyll-inspired gardens, listen to the pond fountain designed by Giuseppe Lund, play a game of croquet on the upper terrace, sip Champagne under the magnolia tree or join the chef in our kitchen garden.

I joined the team at The Montagu Arms in 2012 and since then, have arranged a wide variety of weddings and events from creative workshops and corporate dinner parties, to private exclusive use weddings. Come rain or shine, The Montagu Arms is such a beautiful venue with a homely feel that makes you instantly relax. The gardens are perfect on a lovely sunny day and the lounge with it’s log fire and grandfather clock is so welcoming when it’s cold and wet outside. We had the best time!

We had the best time and the day was perfect. We were very fortunate with the weather and everything went to plan. We must thank Clara and all the staff at the hotel to thank for everything they did, our guests loved the wedding and so did we."

We can't fault anything at all on our day.

We can't fault anything at all on our day, or indeed the planning leading up to it. We enjoyed a wonderful two night stay, the dogs were not left out of anything and enjoyed their treat baskets which were waiting for them along with beds when we arrived and Jack felt included in everything, the staff certainly helped with keeping him entertained! We are very much looking forward to many anniversary stays at The Montagu Arms in the years to come and of course a few afternoon teas!

From the weather to the food, everything was perfect, and our day was better than we could have ever imagined. The whole team at the Montagu Arms was extremely helpful and friendly, and accommodated us from beginning till end. Everyone also loved the unexpected visit of two photogenic donkeys, who loved the fuss our families gave them!

Had a delightful afternoon tea here in order to scope it out as a potential wedding venue. Service was outstanding and the selection of sandwiches, scones and pastries even better. Can't wait to go back.

An amazing experience. We attended a wedding and we were impressed by their attention to detail. The food was amazing including the wines which match the relevant course perfectly. Worth saving for another visit to enjoy the area the Hotel's hospitality.

Fantastic venue for a wedding recently attended. The rooms are beautiful with comfortable beds and seating.
Staff were excellent and the food was great, especially the sausages at breakfast.
