Our house dates back to the early eighteenth century and blends Georgian and Victorian architecture with modern style. With no shortage of romantic charm, the Hawkhills was originally the home of the Love family - and is now a beautiful and historic country house estate, and an outstanding wedding venue.
Whether you’re looking for an intimate wedding for close family and friends, or an extravagant outdoor wedding surrounded by beautiful gardens, woodland and orchards, your perfect day can be tailored to suit your needs. Our suite of rooms, ornately decorated with oak panelling and elaborate coving create an atmosphere of romantic elegance providing a stunning backdrop for your wedding photography.
While our function rooms are available for the ceremony, wedding breakfast or evening party – offering the flexibility you want and ability to accommodate every individual requirement. The Hawkhills also has a civil wedding license to conduct civil marriages and partnerships in the elegant White Room.

Prepare a list of question you have for your venue in advance of your visit to ensure you get all the answers, you may get distracted by looking at the beautiful venue that you forget to ask them!
All our wedding packages include a Master Of Ceremonies and we swear by him! Our Toastmaster is brilliant and he coordinates the day perfectly and makes sure everyone is looked after!

The venue is wonderful for a wedding, even in all types of weather (as we visited even in the snow and it was still spectacular!).
