Cardigan Guildhall is a not for profit, multi purpose, Community Venue run by Menter Aberteifi Cyfyngedig and well established Wedding Venue, Fully Licensed, with Catering facilities on site.
Established in 1996, Menter Aberteifi Cyf is run as a not for profit organisation and became a company limited by guarantee in 2001. We took over the Guildhall from the Council in 2008 after completing a £2 Million refurbishment of the building. Since then it has become a multi purpose community venue holding meetings, talks and lectures, dance and exercise classes, live music events, concerts, plays, dances, parties and of course weddings. We have vast experience in event management and we also arrange the annual Cardigan River and Food Festival, which has up to 100 exhibitors and 6000-8000 visitors each year. Our professional caterers are well used to providing meals of all types to suit your taste and your budget. Our fully stocked and licensed bar carried a varied range of beverages and barista coffee if required.

Julian is the Chief Executive of Menter Aberteifi Cyf and is vastly experienced in event management. He has been co-ordinating weddings at the Guildhall for many years and is the legally responsible person named on our licence. As soon as you have secured a date with your venue , secure the date and time with the Registrar. They are often harder to book than the venue.
Have a clear picture of the numbers of guests in your mind and communicate regularly with the venue about actual attendance.
Decide on your priorities. Is it the Venue, The Location, The Accommodation, The Reception / Party, The Photographs, and so on and make sure that you are happy with any compromises you need to make.
