Hi Billie-Jo,

Both Tony and I would like to say a huge thank you to you for everything you did in making it the most magical day for us. You have been brilliant throughout, in not just the organising, but the flexibility in the current circumstances, the extra details and tweaks we had to make, and in reassuring us that everything was in hand. You were incredibly helpful on the day itself, from coordinating us, overseeing the room set up and being so hands on, to keeping my dress in check for the photos and ceremony! As well as much much more behind the scenes I have no doubt. Thank you so much for making it the most perfect day for us both, we are very grateful for all of your help and support!

The rest of the team were also fantastic, Wian and the other ladies were brilliant on the day, throughout the ceremony and meal especially. We are so pleased we chose The Grand.

My husband and I are forever grateful for the support in planning our wedding in particular support from India Carr and Billie-Jo Clarke. Any queries I had were responded to effectively. They both checked everything with me and ensured I was happy. Thank you both you are amazing and we are forever grateful. On the day the lady who looked after us was also amazing and kept reassuring us and was very supportive. I can't remember her name but she was the leader I think as was wearing a different uniform. The reception were also amazing for the 2 days I stayed in the Grand Hotel. Thank you all for everything.

Dream wedding

From the moment we viewed The Grand Hotel, we knew it was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the very beginning, the events team were incredible and accommodated every wish and suggestion we made. Both Melissa and Stella were fantastic with the planning and were always very responsive to emails and happy to arrange meetings with us. Stella ensured everything came together perfectly in the run up by speaking to all our suppliers and answering any last minute questions that arose, even meeting with us the day before. On the day itself, Megan made everything run smoothly so we didn’t have to worry about a thing and could fully enjoy every moment. The food for both our wedding breakfast and the evening reception was fantastic. The chef put together a custom made menu for the evening according to our wishes and the guests loved it. The wedding breakfast tasting was a wonderful experience and the chef even came out to discuss the menu with us. The suite we stayed in
was beautiful and the staff on reception, concierge and the spa were fantastic throughout.

Thank you for bringing our dream wedding to reality! We will definitely be returning to celebrate our anniversary.

The service of the hotel was amazing. They did everything in their power to ensure us and our guests were always happy. Even when there were mistakes they handled them in the most professional way and went above and beyond to put them right. We had a fantastic wedding day at The Grand Hotel. We were made to feel very special by everyone in the hotel. We cannot thank Melissa, Stella and Megan enough for looking after us so well. Nothing was too much trouble and the ladies honoured all of our requests and treated our wedding day (and lead up to it) with high priority. We feel lucky to have chosen a venue who is considerate of their guests, and who does not treat their venue as a wedding conveyor belt. Thank you for making our wedding day so amazing!

Luxury wedding venue

We arranged a very simple wedding, just room hire and afternoon tea in the lounge afterwards with only us and our two witnesses. The two staff allocated to us couldn’t have been nicer or any more attentive. Delighted with our low key wedding in the surroundings of the beautiful hotel, it kept the wedding meaningful but with a bit of luxury!
