We're a small family business. We love people, we love being hospitable and we love helping couples prepare for the rest of their lives! We can accommodate up to 100 people
Make the Claremont your home for the weekend. Check in with your friends and family to our comfortable, chic bedrooms on Friday afternoon. Then perhaps host a drinks reception in the garden for your nearest and dearest before heading out for a pre-wedding supper. You can decorate the wedding room to your own design and either have fun with your entourage putting it all together or leave us to handle it for you. After an award winning breakfast on the morning of the big day you can get ready in our sumptuous four poster which has plenty of room (and mirrors) for you and your bridesmaids to welcome your hair and makeup artists whilst enjoying a glass of fizz. There are many photo opportunities in our beautiful walled garden and don't forget to breathe and take it all in for a moment before you process down the aisle, the happiest day of your life whizzes by so quickly! After the ceremony - treat your guests to your signature cocktail or glass of Pimms while they listen to the speeches in the garden. (We've found that having the speeches before the meal means that the speechmakers can relax and enjoy their food! But of course you can do it the traditional way if you prefer. The day is yours and we will tailor everything to suit your needs). Your wedding breakfast can be anything from a bespoke sit down three course meal to a BBQ and knees up in the garden and everything in between. (We've even had the family sitting down formally while the bride and groom and friends were in the garden!) We offer a fully stocked general pay bar or can tailor a bespoke bar of the drinks you want to offer and again, anything in between. By the time you have got to this point in your day you might like to relax a bit with some ambient music before the evening festivities begin. We can help you source the music style you would like, from harp, jazz trio, disco and any combination to make the evening fun complete. Guests might be in need of some sustenance by this time and we can provide anything from cheeseboard, buffet and miniburgers to hot dogs and fish and chips.
