The City Rooms is a Georgian, Grade I listed wedding venue and banqueting hall with boutique bedrooms in the heart of Leicester city centre.

We host everything from weddings to private parties, corporate events and conferences, Christenings, memorials and wakes and charity events. Each of these events is co-ordinated by one of our specialist event co-ordinators who will be on hand to help and assist every step of the way to make your day every bit as special as it should be. What’s more there are a range of function rooms available and in-house chefs to cater to your requirements.

We are based in Leicester and offer a choice of three function suites and our stunning bar We can hold civil ceremonies and Wedding Celebrations from the most intimate to the grandest affair. Each of our function suites has a licence for civil ceremonies and partnerships to take place. The City Rooms caters for bespoke Asian Engagements and Weddings, making it one of the most popular Asian wedding venues in the Leicester and Leicestershire area. We can also create bespoke menus and help with recommending and organising entertainment, photographers and decoration including florists and cake makers. Our Grand Ballroom can seat up to 200 guests and is often used for the ceremony as well as the wedding breakfast and evening reception. The City Rooms opened its doors for business in 2006 and is a Georgian, Grade 1 listed wedding venue and banqueting hall with boutique bedrooms.
