o How long have you been Wedding Coordinator at the hotel? 18 Months o What has been your wedding career highlight? I couldn’t name just one, but the best thing for me is seeing the couples I work with being incredibly happy on their special day. o What’s your favourite trend for 2019? The 2 day wedding! Having the traditional day on the first day, followed by a second day which is more informal having a BBQ with all their family and friends. You spend so long planning your special day I think it’s a really lovely new trend that people are having the experience over a few days to really relax and enjoy it! o What's your number 1 advice to couples when starting to plan their wedding? It’s YOUR big, take advice from people, but make sure it’s exactly how you want it to be. o What's the most eccentric request you've ever been asked for an event? Trying to orchestrate a helicopter landing on a cliff side hotel! (Unfortunately due to council restrictions this couldn’t actually happen) o What’s your claim to fame? I met the queen once and had a photo with her which ended up in the local Newspaper! o What’s your favourite thing about planning weddings? Sharing the special moments with the couple, from the excitement of them choosing us as their venue, to the menu tasting where we try a selection of amazing foods to decide their perfect wedding menu, to the final details appointment when the nerves start to build, to being there on the day watching two people in love start their future together as husband and wife. o If you've been to a wedding as a guest, did anything about the day make you go "wow"? If so, what? A prosecco truck supplying unlimited prosecco for the guests!
