Established in 2021, we’re a licensed wedding venue set in the Ceredigion countryside, located between the beautiful market town of Aberaeron and the splendid beaches of New Quay.
Since 2021, we’ve had the opportunity of working with wonderful couples to create their perfect wedding day, and we’d love to be a part of yours!
The venue is exclusively yours on your wedding day, with a range of spaces available for your ceremony - which can be held in the barn itself, in our rustic silo, 'Ty Cariad', on the pontoon overlooking the lake, or on the lawn looking towards the countryside.
Up to 200 of your friends and relatives can join you to celebrate your nuptials at The Barn @ Bargoed Farm. Whether you envisage a small and intimate occasion or something more extravagant, this property has the means to accommodate your needs. Defined by its vintage-meets-vogue charm, The Barn @ Bargoed Farm is able to host ceremonies and receptions. If you'd like an outdoor ceremony, you are welcome to pledge your love in a space that overlooks the lake. Before you head into the barn for dining and dancing, you can enjoy a photography session on the grounds. In addition, the barn is home to a fully licensed bar that can be used by you and your guests.

From the Thursday before at our private gathering at the Posh Cow, everything was spot on, the venue, the staff and the platters served! All guest on the evening were so enthused on all before them. Delicious and put together beautifully.
The Mo-Tel where all family stayed was spotless and comfortable, a very high standard of cleanliness, perfect for us all to be together.
As for our wedding day - everything was perfect! From Breakfast at the moody cow bistro before hand to the complete relaxation of the day making us much more comfortable.
The perfect place for our wedding on the pontoon overlooking the lake! Just what we wanted.
The food was outstanding as were every member of staff throughout our two days stay! Everyone wanted to help with a smiling face and embrace the whole event!
We can’t thank Ali our wedding coordinator enough, for supporting us from day 1 of choosing this beautiful venue to the last thing after the event finished, going above and beyond,Along side Rhiannon and Will, Simply professional and caring. Same with every member of Bargoed farms staff.
We can’t help but try and promote this venue to everyone. Not a bad word can be said! Absolutely beautiful.

We held our wedding reception at the Barn @ Bargoed with thanks to Rhiannon who came to our rescue after our original plan fell through!
Arranging the reception was a breeze with Ali (Wedding Coordinator) who was on hand helping me and calming my nerves. We owe a huge thank you to not only Rhiannon and Ali but to Heather (the Chef), Ella, Will and all the other lovely staff who worked so hard (with huge smiles on their faces!) to make sure we had an experience that we’ll NEVER forget!
If you’ve ever visited the Barn you’ll know how stunning it is on the inside and how picturesque the surroundings are! The current decoration is perfect as it is but it also allows you to add your own touches if you have a certain theme!
We had a sit down meal for 100 people and also opted an evening buffet. The food was out of this world! The Chef and kitchen staff are a force to be reckoned with! The service from the waiters/waitresses were super impressive ☺ Team Barn @ Bargoed deserve a gold medal and are such a credit to Chris and Geraint!
We stayed at the Moo-Tel with family and can't recommend it enough! The rooms are gorgeous and clean and the beds are super comfy! What more could you ask for?!
