Stonehouse Court Hotel is a 36-bedroom, 17th century Manor House Hotel. Set in six acres of stunning grounds overlooking the Stroud Water Canal and rolling hills of the Stroud Valley, it is the perfect setting for a magical day.

In the Manor House you’ll find our restaurant, terrace and bar with 9 beautifully appointed guest bedrooms. Our annex building offers a further 27 bedrooms, enough to accommodate all of your friends and family for your big day.

The unique grounds, wedding planning expertise and signature Stonehouse Court personal service, will all ensure that your wedding day is everything you dreamed of.

Stonehouse Court offers a full range of options from intimate civil ceremonies to large exclusive-use weddings or a marquee on the lawns.

There are a selection of suites in the main Manor House for you to hold your ceremony, as well as the option of our boutique wedding suite which also holds the option of an Open-Air ceremony.

The Caroline Suite is the largest of our Wedding Suites, has stunning panoramic views across its own private terrace, landscaped gardens, reception and bar areas. It has a contemporary, stylish interior, is totally self-contained and exclusively yours for the entire day. This suite can hold up to 120 guests for the ceremony.
Our Pagoda, what could be more romantic than getting married outside under our Cotswold Stone Pagoda? Located in the private gardens of the Caroline suite, you can make your vows in the picturesque gardens and the fresh, open air. For up to 120 guests, it’s the perfect setting for a ceremony held outdoors.

The elegant Arundel Suite has high ceilings and bare wooden beams, in keeping with the old Manor House building, perfect for setting the scene for a truly magical day. It houses stunning views across our landscaped gardens, which are bordered by the Cotswold Way
Canal and the Stroud Valleys. This Suite can hold up to 85 guests for your Ceremony.

The Crellin Suite is located in the Main House and has unique, dark oak panelling and offers direct access to the Manor terrace, gardens and canal path. The Crellin suite offers the perfect setting for a small intimate wedding, holding up to 35 guests.

St Cyr’s Church, although not in direct relation to the hotel, is an alternative option to a Civil Ceremony.
Situated right at the bottom of the Manor House lawn, on the edge of the canal waterway,
St Cyr’s church will meet all of your expectations for a beautiful, traditional church wedding, without the hassle of having to transport your guests to the reception.

Following your ceremony, your dedicated co-ordinator on the day will lead you and your guests into your drinks reception. This can be held either in the historic lounge in the Manor with an original Cotswold Stone Fireplace, private contemporary bar in our Caroline Suite or outside onto one of our beautiful garden terraces. You can also enjoy a stroll down to our beautiful canal area at the bottom of the lawns. Housing a family of swans and overlooking the Stroud Valley, it is the perfect setting for you and your guests to enjoy your special day.

We have a selection of traditional three course menus available for your wedding breakfast, as well as more relaxed options of a Barbeque or Hog Roast outside on your private lawn. Our chefs will work with you to tailor your menu to your needs.
There are two Suites available for your wedding breakfast, the old and characterful Arundel Suite seating up to 50 guests or the modern, boutique Caroline Suite seating up to 120 guests
2hich has floor to ceiling glass doors on one side so it can open out onto your private garden and terrace. It is also fitted with its own bar and lounge, so as to keep you and your guests together and self-contained the whole day.

Dance the night away in our Caroline Suite, from a live band to fireworks, garden games or bouncy castles, the space and privacy of the Caroline Suite enables you to plan the night of your life! Our evening food options range widely and include evening buffet, make your own burger bar, make your own fajita bar, barbeque and hog roast!
