Adjacent to St Marys Church and with beautiful views of the House and gardens, the Marquee Lawn is the idyllic setting. The Impressive Dining room can seat up to 70 guests for a wedding breakfast. Drinks receptions can follow on from your civil ceremony or upon your arrival at Sledmere House. Enjoy getting ready in the Red Bedroom - one of Sledmeres Master Bedrooms The Sykes Barn is set in the Heart of Sledmere Estate, this charming range of model farm buildings offers exposed beams, brick archways and a large enclosed gravel courtyard. The Sykes Barn is just a five minute walk from Sledmere House With optional furniture hire, no corkage fees and the opportunity to decorate the venue as you please, the Barn is a diverse and flexible venue offering you the freedom to personalise your wedding to your own unique style

Our experienced and friendly staff will be on hand throughout the day, while our Wedding co-ordinator, Michaela, will help from your initial enquiry, viewing and booking of your date right through to the finer details of your special day, as well as being on hand all day throughout your wedding day. Our professional yet relaxed style of service will help your day run smoothly whilst you and your guests are made to feel at home

Not only are you able to have your ceremony & wedding breakfast in the house, you have other options with Sledmere. There is a church next door to the house and grounds, a barn across the road and the option of a marquee on the gorgeous lawn. So essentially, you have 4 options where you can mix and match to make your day perfect for you!

So pleased that we found this venue and cannot wait for our wedding in May!
