Information For Salisbury Medieval Hall

Salisbury Medieval Hall is the perfect setting to host your special day. We are licensed to conduct a range of Civil Ceremonies including Marriages and Civil Partnerships.

With its rich history as the Great Hall of the original Salisbury Cathedral Deanery, the Hall lends itself perfect to intimate weddings with a small number of guests, but can accommodate up a maximum of 120 people.

It is located centrally, just 250m from the cathedral and is part of what is probably the oldest of the many ancient houses in the area.

Although the venue is beautiful just as it is, you are welcome to bring any flowers or other decorations, to dress the space as you wish for your celebration.

After your ceremony, you can also arrange for additional time to have photos taken and offer drinks and nibbles to your guests. Our team are highly experienced at event management and would be delighted to support you in planning your celebration.

We can give you ideas and suggestions and also provide hands-on support as you design and prepare for your Ceremony.

You can visit us beforehand as many times as you need to, and we encourage a rehearsal before the big day to ensure that everyone with a part to play in the Ceremony is confident in their role.
