The Riverside House Hotel is a 15 bedroomed Georgian building, in the town of Mildenhall Suffolk.

This stunning Grade 2* listed Building is set in beautiful landscaped gardens on the banks of the River Lark Built around 1720 it has in its former years been a private house, school, nursing home but is now one of Suffolk’s leading names in wedding venues. Hosting around 70 weddings a year, we are able to offer anything from room hire only to fully exclusive use of the hotel. All weddings are tailor made to the guests’ requirements, with bespoke menus being provided and with talented chefs any menu is possible. We offer all types of ceremonies, blessings, christenings even the renewal of vows ceremonies.

The Riverside House Hotel although licenced for ceremonies is only a short walk from the historic St Marys Church. Both our Terrace Restaurant and smaller Mill Suite are licenced for marriages and weather permitting ceremonies can be conducted in the south facing garden.

We boast 15 En suite bedrooms, comprising of our enchanting bridal room, four garden facing double rooms and one garden facing family room, three beautiful attic rooms (two family and one double) and six church facing double rooms.

Our Terrace Restaurant can comfortably seat up to 90 guests for a sit - down wedding breakfast or up to 150 if combining it with our Mill Suite. Two well stocked bars provide drinks for all tastes. Our picturesque garden and outside terrace provide the ideal place for reception drinks, Hog Roasts and BBQ`s

For your evening entertainment, we can accommodate up to 250 guests, with catering ranging from traditional homemade finger food, cheese boards or cheese cakes, bacon baps, fish finger sandwiches and much much more.
The morning after enjoy, over a delicious cooked breakfast reminiscing with family and friends.
