Information For Radici
Radici translates as ‘roots’, and reflects the Calabrian cuisine of Francesco’s heritage, incorporating dishes from the southern Italian areas of Campania, Basilicata, Puglia, Sicily, and Sardinia. An ever-evolving menu offers carefully selected ingredients and gastronomic discoveries, including favourites such as pizza, pasta and delicious small plates like burrata with purple-sprouting broccoli, anchovies, red chilli and hazelnuts. There is also a selection of sharing dishes, as well as Sunday feasts served family-style. The laid-back, modern interiors of Radici have been created by renowned designer David d’Almada of Sagrada studios, capturing the rustic design perfectly evocative of the sunbaked, rugged landscapes of Francesco’s native Calabria. The space is all about clean organic shapes, natural colours, and the iconic Italian tuff stone, while hints of blue in the furniture and crockery run throughout. This understated design enhances the relaxed atmosphere and versatility of the space at Radici, with the main restaurant and bar leading on to the wine room, private dining room, and through to the al fresco terrace on Almeida Street.
