Found on Hayling Island on the South Coast of Hampshire, the Newtown House Hotel has been welcoming guests for over 60 years.

The hotel is full of character and charm and was renovated from an 18th Century farm house. With its old ships beams, oak paneling and stone fireplaces alongside quality modern furnishings and fittings, the Newtown House Hotel is the perfect setting for any corporate or social occasion and weddings.

The relaxed charming and historical setting of the Newtown House Hotel makes for an ideal venue for a marriage ceremony, wedding breakfast for up to 100 seated guests and up to 150 guests for the evening reception.

The Hotel is licensed to carry out civil ceremonies, allowing you to hold your entire wedding day in one location if you choose. Our Manor Suite, overlooking the hotel gardens, provides an elegant setting and is served via its own dedicated bar and kitchen.

To celebrate the start of your special day with those closest to you, we have our superb Wedding Breakfast. In the beautiful setting of the hotel function rooms, you can enjoy a delicious three course meal prepared by our experienced Chef team, All of our menus can be individually tailored to your tastes.

Renowned for our “personal touch” and attention to every detail of your special day, means that early booking is essential to reserve the date you have in mind.

If you’re looking for a venue to host the reception of your wedding, we can arrange the perfect event. There is a choice of either the Manor Suite, the Orchard or Garden Room.

We can help you organise everything from the music, food and drinks for you and your guests. We guarantee to help you organise a reception to remember with our special Drinks Reception. A special selection of wines, beers and spirits will be provided to you and your guests, making it the perfect end to the perfect day.

The main wedding room is gorgeous and the enclosed outdoor space was perfect for afternoon drinks/ nibbles.

We were married here August 2023 and what a lovely little venue it is. The main wedding room is gorgeous and the enclosed outdoor space was perfect for afternoon drinks/ nibbles. We hired the whole place for our guests who stayed onsite. We would recommend the hotel. The bar area/ some of the rooms could do with a little updating but on the whole the venue is perfect for a reasonably priced wedding. The food was also great :) Special thank you to Vicky who made us feel at ease and coordinated everything fantastically

Wonderful day. Everything went to plan. Lovely venue which everybody loved. Had lots of space inside and out. Nothing was too much trouble from the hotel. Very reasonable with the children as well - didnt charge us adult prices which was fantastic, and cooked them food children would want while adults had the traditional wedding meal

We had our wedding here, and from start to end it was absolutely amazing. We had exclusive hire of the whole venue, our guests stayed here overnight, we had an amazing welcome reception with drinks and canopies, 3 course festive lunch and evening buffet. It was all tailored to our individual requirements. The staff are amazing and they make you feel so special. We all had breakfast together the next morning and booked the rooms out that night to make a long weekend of it.
Best wedding venue in our opinion especially for the cost.

Such a beautiful venue with outside space too.
