As a wedding photographer this is one of my favourite venues to shoot at. I recently had a wedding here and it was a perfect day from start to finish. Alison and her team were amazing and had everything running smoothly and on time. The rooms were all set up beautifully and the staff were friendly, polite and helpful.If you are looking for somewhere to get beautiful wedding photos taken then you should seriously consider Murrayshall. The building and surrounding grounds are stunning and if you're lucky enough to get a nice sunset then you're guaranteed to get some incredible shots.

The hotel and its rooms are to a very high standard.
Night one Lyndoch suite- spacious and beautiful.
Night two bridal suite- so big with amazing views.

We were married in the secret rose garden which was beautiful, we used the private dining room, function room, function bar,
Facilities and lots of our guests stayed over.

When we first booked our wedding it was Covid and from the point of booking to now we met a few wedding events managers.
At times we were worried about the high staff turnover but I’m a believer in everything happening for a reason.

We were blessed to have Laura- Event and Wedding Executive on the lead up to our wedding who put us at ease and pulled everything together.
On the day of the wedding Laura and Alison were great.
Jason our MC was fantastic, as we were having the best day of our lives he was in the background making sure everything ran accordingly.
Special mention to Kirstyn from housekeeping who was one of the most helpful, kind people we’ve met and was great especially with our daughters.
Also to Daniel who was on the bar, and breakfast the next day. We had met Daniel a few time on the run up to the wedding.

We are in the final weeks coming up to our wedding and the venue has been nothing but supportive, they have listened to how we would like things and been so wonderfully flexible. Eilidh especially has answered so many of my questions without hesitation and its been really refreshing to work with them and feel zero worries about my venue.

We have had so much help with the start of our booking Nicola was so good and has recently changed to a new girl jade who has been amazing

My partner and I were due to get married August 2020 but like many our dream day was cancelled and rearranged for April this year.

Eilidh from murrayshall has been excellent at answering all of our questions and keeping us up to date in these uncertain times.

We are very hopeful that we dont need to postpone a second time.
