We are nestled in the tranquil village of Mapperley between Derby & Nottingham within 160 acres of
picturesque grassland & woodlands. We take care & attention to understand your needs, because creating beautiful, memorable Weddings and Events is just as important to us as it is to you.

Birthday Party

Celebrated my birthday party. The venue was fab, Rosie was brilliant to work with lots of knowledge about everything . Would definitely recommend it . We even camped which was lovely .

Mapperley farm what can I say!!!! We had six venues to view when looking for the perfect wedding venue. You was first on the list. We didn’t view the other 5 and had to book you before I got in the car to leave.
Rosie and Sam you was amazing from the first moment we met you till our good byes after the wedding. The staff was amazing full of smiles and just so helpful. We couldn’t have wished for a better wedding you made a girls dream come true. The day was just magical from the tractor to the ceremony to the night in the barns. And talk about 5 star breakfast and rooms!!!! If I could put the day in to words it would be just magical. Thank you so much for absolutely everything. All our guests was blown away. THANK YOU and we look forward to seeing you again. Mr and Mrs Mills

An amazing experience

Thank you Rosie and Sam for an amazing experience with you for our wedding. From initially looking around the site and booking, through covid and keeping in touch with us to reassure us that they would do everything they could to help us to make our day go ahead (including reserving the date weekend for us 12 months later) and helping us to rearrange our suppliers to making sure that we and all our guests had the best day - we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The little details were perfect - arranging the cocktail happy hour we asked about when we first looked round, sourcing specific beers we asked for and meeting our vintage Rolls-Royce as we arrived at the entrance to the field in the pouring rain to make sure the driver brought us right to the front of our tipi! Rosie has excellent relationships with suppliers and is always happy to accommodate new ones. She knew our plans inside out and made sure everything ran smoothly on the day. We’re so pleased we chose Mapperley Farm and can’t recommend it highly enough.

The most beautiful, wonderful venue

Mapperley Farm is the most beautiful, wonderful venue and I would recommend anyone wishing to have a magical, completely personalised wedding or party to book a visit and consider mapperley farm as their first choice.
We recently got married here after falling in love with the venue during our first visit last year. We heard about the venue from a friend who had visited previously. It ticked every box from the first time we stepped foot into the woodlands and saw how gorgeous it was.
One of the things we loved the most about the venue was that Rosie and Sam were open to ideas, flexible and allowed us to have our day the way we wanted it. We chose the majority of our own suppliers, but when we needed help they were there and helped us find our fabulous day time caterer and were so helpful when we had questions about sorting the day. The venue is super dog friendly and enabled us to have our doggies there for our day, which was so special for us. Another massive bonus was that we had exclusive use of the venue for the weekend - this meant that we were able to set up the barn on the Friday and take down on the Sunday, which meant we could enjoy our special day without any stress.
The cost of the venue is amazing and the ability to chose our own suppliers meant we could stay in our budget and manage our costs well. It also meant that we could get married on a Saturday during peak season, which was what we wanted as we had a specific date in mind and it meant all our friends and family could be there for our day. Rosie and Sam are clear about the prices and there was no pressure at all when discussing optional add ons.
We were lucky with the weather on the day and got married in the woodlands, which was absolutely beautiful particularly with the sun coming through the trees. If getting married in the woodlands, I would definitely recommend the tractor ride optional add on as well as this went down so well with our guests.
On the day, Rosie, Sam and their team worked so hard and went above and beyond to make our day special. They clearly love what they do and this comes across in the way they help everything run smoothly and were smiling from start to finish. The suppliers on the day have all commented on how wonderful the venue was and how kind and easy to work with Rosie and Sam are. This again helped to make our day perfect.
We can’t thank Rosie and Sam and the team at Mapperley Farm enough for making our day one to remember. We will definitely be recommending the venue to everyone we know and will be visiting in the future for their Christmas events. Thank you

Absolutely stunning venue

We had our wedding here in August 2023. It’s an absolutely stunning venue, we had a woodland wedding which is a perfect setting & stunning. We also had pictures taken with the farm animals which makes great photos within the setup of the venue. The whole setup at Mapperley Farms Events is stunning. We can’t thank Rosie & Sam enough for all they did to make our day go perfect, & we would like to say a massive thank you to Tyia for all her hard work in helping us set up the room for our wedding reception. We can’t fault this venue or the staff is was perfect from start to finish. We had so many lovely comments for such a beautiful setting for our woodland wedding & the beautiful courtyard & indoor venue rooms. We can 100% recommend this wedding venue it was perfect from start to finish.

What an amazing day. The venue looked out of this world. All the guests were blown away .Rosie, Sam and the staff were brilliant. They went out of their way to make sure the day was just effortless and such a happy stress free occasion.

If you want a unique, special, beautiful wedding, set in the most beautiful, natural romantic location this is the place to go. The attention to detail throughout the whole venue - it’s stunning.

The most amazing day

My daughter had her wedding and reception on Saturday at Mapperley Farm. It was the most amazing day, the perfect venue. Rosie, Sam and their team were amazing and made sure everything went like clockwork all day and evening. The venue is picture perfect and spotless, the bar well stocked and the tractor ride is a must!! Thank you for making Emily and Laurie’s day so perfect xx
