At the heart of Leadenham Estate, Leadenham House, our ancestral home, can be your home for the most important day of your life.
Leadenham Estate offers a wide range of ceremony and celebration opportunities set within a beautiful landscape, from traditional parish church, elegant country house and garden to rustic barn, lakeside parkland and nature, or a combination of these for a richly diverse wedding of your own unique imagining.
From today, Leadenham House accommodates up to fifty guests for an indoor ceremony and celebration, while a tipi, yurt, Sperry tent or marquee in the park or garden combined with an outdoor ceremony under the loggia or in the parish church, which is accessed directly through a door in the garden wall, can accommodate up to 300.
From 2022 there will be a reception space for 150 people in Leadenham House itself.
Leadenham House has fine Georgian-furnished bedrooms, with two available now, seven in 2022 and fifteen in 2023. Further accommodation is available in six holiday cottages on the estate, all within easy walking distance of the house and church, each one sleeping six to eight guests. Luxurious bell tents scattered throughout the park and gardens can accommodate your guests over those idyllic summer nights, or even yourselves for an effortlessly rustic or boho wedding night vibe among nature.
From 2022 a 400-seat venue will be available in the refurbished barn at the splendid, Palladian-style Georgian stables, to include a palatial bridal suite on the first floor of the coach house underneath the clock tower, enjoying your own south-facing terrace with a hot-tub overlooking a private garden in view of the house and church. The first floor of the stable wings provides overnight accommodation for fifty guests.
With the development of an artisan market, award-winning cafe, parkland walks and heritage attractions, the village of Leadenham and the grounds of Leadenham House will be a pleasant location for you and your guests to spend a wedding weekend and to soak up the village character during your stay, In the lead up to your wedding as you plan the event, we hope it will come to feel like home to you.
Leadenham Estate plays host to a bustling community of wedding suppliers of every kind to fulfil any bridal whim you may dream up, from catering, styling, clothing, decoration, stationary, jewellery, photography, videography, floristry, hair, makeup, childcare, to music, entertainment, pyrotechnics, travel and beyond.
If you wish to bring in the services of outside suppliers not known to us but personal and important to you then we will do everything we can to incorporate them smoothly into our team for your day.
Full coordination of your wedding from start to finish is a central part of our service. We will take all the stress off you to ensure that you can concentrate on what is truly important, celebrating your perfect day with your partner and loved ones.

As well as ensuring that every detail of your day is perfectly attended to, William takes great pride in the house that has been his family's home since it was built, leading heritage tours that are enriched by his lifelong familiarity. If you have your wedding with us, he will ensure that you are well-versed in the history of his home and the many significant features of the place in which you will be married, until it feels like a spiritual home of your own and a worthy place for your memories.

We welcome couples for personal tours of the house, by appointment only.
Top Wedding Tips
Come to one of our open days where you can meet many of our wonderful wedding suppliers; the next one is the Leadenham Autumn Fair on Sunday 20th September 2020.
We do of course hold civil ceremonies at the house, but even if you aren't considering a church wedding, visiting St Swithuns, our parish church and meeting our wonderful rector may change your mind.
Our grounds and spaces are extensive and diverse. Come with an open mind to the many possibilities for creating a wedding to truly remember.
