Kent Life is a delightful and completely unique country wedding venue. Set within 28 acres of stunning rural surroundings, this is the perfect venue for a romantic wedding with a difference.
Kent Life is a real hidden ‘gem’, a totally unique venue delightfully set in 28 acres of beautiful rural surroundings - the perfect setting for a romantic Kentish wedding with a difference.
Fully licensed for civil ceremonies, Kent Life have a few beautiful spaces to choose from when it comes to saying your vows; the restored, traditional Ulcombe Village Hall, the beautiful Old Wedding Chapel and a big Marquee with amazing views of the North Downs. Following the ceremony, you can enjoy a toast and snap those all-important photographs in the picture-perfect gardens.
On your wedding day a member of Vincents team will warmly welcome you to Kent Life and be on hand to oversee your entire day, acting as an informal toastmaster to guide you, your best man and your guests effortlessly through all the formalities.
The Wagon Store can accommodate up to 100 guests for your Wedding Breakfast and there are a variety of room configurations and layouts depending on numbers but we are happy to be as flexible as possible to accommodate your requirements. The Wagon Store is a ‘blank canvas’ which you are free to decorate in any way you wish although you may feel that this room should be left as it is – simply stunning!
During the evening you have use of both function rooms - Ulcombe Village Hall and the Wagon Store where there is a maximum occupancy using both rooms of 200 guests. Your evening entertainment i.e. disco, band etc are free to set up in the Village Hall whilst you are enjoying your wedding breakfast in the Wagon Store.
Your evening buffet is then laid out in the Wagon Store for you and your guests to enjoy or if you are having the BBQ option our Chefs will be cooking under the fairylit pergola outside the Wagon Store and serving the food either outside or inside this room (depending on weather).
If you choose to have your ceremony in the Marquee you have the choice of inside the Marquee or outside on the big beautiful field with amazing views. Then we will serve your wedding breakfast/ evening buffet in the Marquee along with your evening party.

My name is Lindsay and I am the wedding coordinator at Kent Life along with Belle. I am dedicated to making your wedding day perfect and for everything to run smoothly, from your initial viewing, to making your booking, to the day itself and taking away any stress you may have! Mark and I wanted to send you a quick email with a massive huge thank you for everything you did in the lead up to and during our wedding day. The day was absolutely perfect and everything was so well organised and smooth. The food was incredible and all I've heard all day is compliments about the crème brûlée. Most people are saying, it's the best they've ever had.
Our guests loved seeing the animals especially the goats with bowties.

Getting married at Kent Life was an absolute dream. We really wanted to find a venue that reflected who we were as a couple, we never wanted the extravagance of a castle or manor house. It was important to find something much more down to earth with a lot of natural beauty. Kent Life was actually only the second venue we visited, we quickly cancelled any other visits as we knew we found the one. They offer a lot of unique touches that you can't get anywhere else, like animal meet and greets and various different spaces to take gorgeous photos. Our wedding coordinator changed a few times in the process (mainly as we booked 2 years in advance to ensure that covid was fully gone) but this didn't disrupt the plans at all. Each person that took us on worked carefully to make sure all of our wishes had been handed over, nothing was forgotten along the way. We felt that the staff really did care about cultivating our perfect day, we couldn't be happier with the way it went. Nothing was a problem at all, we were able to have everything we wanted. Our guests couldn't have been more stunned by the venue, they all had to comment that it truly was the best wedding they had ever been to. We had a lot of guests fly over from Dublin, it was such a treat to show them a true gem of Kent. I honestly want to relive that day over and over again, a huge thanks to the staff at Kent Life for making us feel so special and taken care of.
