Hopton Court has reopened for Weddings in 2021 after extensive refurbishment.

Hopton Court will be exclusively yours on your wedding day because we want you to feel completely at home at this beautiful Shropshire country house. The Coach House, Orangery and grounds are all available for you to plan the perfect day. Flexibility and versatility are what makes Hopton unique. Your wedding, your way.

THE ORANGERY

Our Grade II* listed Victorian Orangery is a wonderful space to get married - inside, under its stunning curved glass roof, stone walls bedecked with sweet smelling flowers, or outside, providing a stunning backdrop to your nuptials.

Capacity of 100 standing or 50 seated.

THE COACH HOUSE

The Coach House, newly refurbished in 2021 is perfect for your wedding breakfast or for drinks and canapes in the pretty courtyard.

The Tack Room is the ideal entrance for your guest to pick up a glass of champagne and walk through a vine covered stone archway through to the courtyard

Capacity 50 seated or 120 standing.

WOODLAND WEDDINGS

Fall in love with the great outdoors and enjoy your ceremony and reception in relaxed surroundings. We have two woodland wedding locations at Hopton.

THE CHURCH

The Church of St Michael & All Angels in the village is a short walk away from your reception at Hopton Court.

MARQUEES

We have three marquee sites at Hopton Court-in the grounds adjacent to the Orangery, adjoining or in the Coach House courtyard seating up to 200 people for your wedding breakfast.

If you’re looking for a unique way to celebrate, a tipi wedding means you can be in the great outdoors, in the grounds at Hopton Court, in the Victorian walled garden or even in the woodlands.

FOOD GLORIOUS FOOD

The Coach House has a fully functional, licensed kitchen –you are free to choose your own caterers, or we can recommend great local suppliers. We can also provide bar services too but if you prefer to bring your own, we won’t charge you corkage.

GLAMPING

There is an area in the Victorian walled garden for camping if your guests want to stay over, or a glamp site nearby with 6 fully serviced bell tents.
