Nestled in the heart of the Yorkshire countryside and surrounded by unspoilt natural beauty, Sheveling Wine Estate at Holmfirth Vineyard is a truly unique venue.
Privately owned by the Sheveling family the 7 acre vineyard provides an idyllic setting for your special day.
Providing the perfect balance of quintessential country charm and sophisticated elegance, we invite couples to begin their lies together in the stunning surroundings which we fell in love with ourselves.
We offer range of packages and complete versatility of the vineyard to make your dream wedding come true with bespoke options for an indoor or outdoor ceremony, outdoor blessing or magical twilight wedding.
Exclusively yours for the day the Solaris Suite is licensed for civil ceremonies and is available for wedding banquet receptions, from small intimate ceremonies to large celebrations. We can accommodate 140 guests and we also have 7 well appointed self catering eco apartments onsite at The Retreat complex at the foot of the vines, which features a complimentary honeymoon suite.

The Vineyard staff have been so wonderful helping us plan our day, and they have been so accommodating during the uncertainties of covid. They've made this anxious bride to me much more chilled out thanks to their organisation! It's such an idyllic place and the perfect venue for us.

Stunning views all around! We recently married at Holmfirth Vineyard. Our day was perfect in every way. From the first time we met Tom we felt assured that all was in hand. He was organised, very experienced, not pushy at all and listened to our requests. We had serveral informal meetings together before our wedding day which really helped iron out any worries. As we wanted an informal meal of ' Afternoon Tea' for our guests, the chef prepared a beautiful choice or sandwiches and treats for adults and children to enjoy. The serving staff ensured all guests had plenty of tea and coffee flowing.They were all polite and professional. Many of our guests stayed in the apartments and all of them said how lovely they were to stay in. Several of them also had breakfast and an evening meal before they departed and once again, were delighted with their meals. When your guests tell you, our wedding was the best wedding they had been too, know you have chosen the correct venue in a stunning location. I would love to do it all over all! Thank you everyone we shall be back soon to enjoy a coffee / meal with wine again soon. xx

We cant thank Tom and his team enough for making our wedding so special. From the very start Tom was so friendly & helpful and gave us some great ideas & supplier names to help bring our dream to life. Tom & his team took control of the day so we could relax and enjoy the moment (Tom even used a drinks tray to fan me when i got too hot before the ceremony :-)
All our guests absolutely loved the quality of the food & wine, it was really delicious & the Rose wine went down a treat!
Now, onto the views..... there are no words to describe how beautiful the setting was, as our evening guests arrived the sun setting over the valley was just magical! No matter where your sat you have an amazing view which makes for the most stunning photos.
We would highly recommend the Holmfirth Vineyard for weddings. We loved having our whole wedding day & night in one place with gorgeous apartments on site for our guests.

Beautiful place to get married..
The scenery and the food is delightful and it is a beautiful place to get married. We were wanting a Mediterranean wedding but due to costs decided to have it close to home. I came across Holmfirth Vineyard and thought it was perfect for us. Having spoke to Tom (manager and wedding coordinator) several times over the phone and via email, he really went out of his way to answer all my questions, made us feel at ease and excited for our day. We were able to come and visit the venue a few times before we married, so any concerns we had were addressed early on. We came for a tasting of the wedding breakfast and it was truly scrumptious, so hard to choose ... The day was beautiful, though it did rain (heavily at parts) it didn't matter because the location looked even more dramatic, the staff were lovely and helpful, the food was great and we had a lovely time. One worry I did have was seeing other guests at the restaurant or on the vineyard tour on my wedding day. Tom recently made some changes, so that meant we also got the conservatory with our package, which was perfect because it rained most of the time they were changing the room around. And the other guests were hardly noticeable when we out of the main room and really nice to us, I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. I would highly recommend the vinyard, definitely for the restaurant and for a wedding any time of year because its so beautiful. I'm still to try the tour, however I'm sure its great too we will definitely be back and I think most of our wedding guests will be too.

Phenomenal throughout our entire wedding!
Put simply, Tom and his team were phenomenal throughout our entire wedding experience. During the planning process, Tom was always available, was ever helpful and had excellent attention to detail. During the day, his team worked tirelessly, even above and beyond the call of duty, to make our day a tremendous success. We've received positive feedback from all of our guests regarding the stunning location, amazing food, fascinating wine tour and perfect venue.

Aaron and I got married back on 11th May 2019. Becky whenever we met her was so helpful and even introduced me to my photographer and wedding dress shop!
As soon as Tom arrived at the vineyard he took full control of our wedding and made sure we had thought about everything, even the little details we would never have thought of until the day he knew we needed and sorted. All my emails and queries were quickly answered and on the day every single member of the vineyard team was amazing, they even dropped us off back at the apartments after the wedding had finished.
Come rain or sunshine the vineyard is the perfect venue as it brings the outside inside, the food is amazing and the service is just as good. They worked with my stylist and everything I envisaged was just perfect we couldn’t have asked for a better day - the rain gave us the best sunset the vineyard could have offered!
