Hales Hall & The Great Barn is a romantic, five-star, luxury, boutique venue for couples seeking a unique wedding. We offer an exclusive 3-day hire and are fully licensed for Civil Marriages, Civil Partnerships and Duo Ceremonies.
Seating 50-200+ guests for wedding receptions the majestic thatched Grade 1 Tudor Great Barn features an impressive vaulted roof with exposed timbers, 180 candlelit loop-hole windows, feature licensed bar, integrated sound & lighting system, projection screen and underfloor heating. There is a further large gallery reception room offering breath-taking views across Hales country estate and meadow land.
The quintessential country estate offers all the romance and seclusion for the ultimate celebration. Guests may enjoy canapés, drinks & games on the moated lawns or relax on the sun-kissed terrace by The Great Barn with outdoor seating and fairy lights. The romantic walled gardens are stocked with aromatic lavender, tumbling scented roses, beautiful lawns and clipped topiary providing the perfect setting for your treasured moments and wedding photographs.

As the dust settles on our wedding last weekend and we've made it back to Geneva, Myles and I just wanted to pass on our heartfelt thanks for all your helpover the past months and of course, particularly for last weekend. Hales was such a magical place to have our reception, helped in no small part by yourself and your team - we have no doubt that a significant amount of behind-the-scenes work and coordination went on to make everything run so spectacularly smoothly and professionally! Everyone on the team was so friendly and thoughtful - it really
helped make the day so special. Your emails have always been so clear and helpful, enabling us to understand how
we could tailor the weekend exactly as we wished, all the more impressive when we kept changing things and didn't make up our minds particularly quickly!
The canapes and the meal were delicious and we had loads of compliments on the range and tastiness of everything on offer!
Thanks also for being so flexible with visits to Hales, on the setting up day, and also for tidying everything up afterwards to make it as easy as possible for us to head off on the Sunday. A recurring comment was 'if only we could have stayed longer!' as well as many people saying that it was one of the best weddings they'd

August 2018. The beautiful Hall slept twenty five of our loved ones for three nights and we all
absolutely fell in love with this 14th century house, it is absolute heaven (take the online 3D
tour, you'll fall in love). This house is kitted out with everything you need and is short of
nothing. Our wedding day was just perfect and people have commented that it was the best
wedding they have ever been to. I honestly think this is down to not only the beautiful venue
with stunning grounds but also the service that came with it. Emily and Briony ran and
managed the day like pro's. Nothing was too much to ask, they are highly experienced
wedding co-ordinaters and I am just so grateful to have had them there.
Also thanks again for clearing up on the Sunday which enabled us to enjoy a leisurely breakfast with our friends and family. We really appreciate it!
You went above and beyond and it was just amazing so thank you - we want to slow it all down and do it again
The staff and you deserved the tip we left as no one waited for a drink and everything was just perfect. So thank you so much. We will send you over photos once we get them
We had a lovely honeymoon (*not* in north wales - still not quite over that...!) and it feels very strange now being back with no wedding to plan!

We had an absolutely amazing wedding weekend and the entire experience would not have been possible without you both and the team making everything run like clockwork from the planning to the actual day.
Everyone has commented on what an amazing venue, food, set up everything and it means the world that our wedding day was so perfect and everything we wished for.
It was a truly memorable weekend and I think I was as upset about saying goodbye to Hales as I was saying goodbye to my family!!
