Guildford Manor is a family run weddings venue & hotel, based within the beautiful Surrey Hills. Our venue offers an all-inclusive experience combining an indoor or outdoor civil ceremony with our expert in-house catering and comfortable on-site accommodation – not to mention The Spa for pampering & relaxation, and our grounds for fun garden games that get the whole family involved! Furthermore, you have the option for exclusive use of the venue. We really do have it all covered.

Guildford Manor is situated 10 minutes from Guildford town centre, 45 minutes from Central London and 3 minutes from Clandon train station. We are incredibly accessible from London or further afield.
We have 57 comfortable bedrooms and can therefore accommodate your whole wedding party – no need to travel!
Our wedding package includes a double bedroom for the night before your big day. This is intended for the Bride, so that she can stay the night before with a few of her bridesmaids to settle the nerves, have her hair / makeup done in the venue and avoid all that on-the-day travel stress.
We offer indoor or outdoor wedding ceremonies.
Our indoor ceremony takes place in the Bloomsbury suite, a elegant and sophisticated grand hall which can seat up to 100 guests. The Bloomsbury features natural light, views of our incredible grounds, ornate chandeliers, polished wood floor panelling and our piece de resistance – a real-gold leaf red feature wall. It’s an unforgettable room which is ideal for sharing your vows with your fiancé and your family & friends.
We hold our outdoor weddings at The Pavilion. This is a breathtakingly romantic and natural setting, perfect for wedding photos that you can cherish forever. You can customise this space with haystacks or draping to make it yours! The capacity of our outdoor weddings is 130 guests.
Following your ceremony, it is time for your drinks reception and canapes. All of our canapes are handmade and prepared inhouse by our expert team. For your reception drinks, we can offer you Prosecco, Buck’s Fizz or Pimm’s. Non-alcoholic options are available for kids and non-drinkers.
This part in the day presents an ideal time for photos in our amazing grounds or even to play some fun garden games with you nearest and dearest – including croquet, 10 pin bowling or giant Jenga.
When you are ready, we will invite your guests into the Lytton Strachey suite for your wedding breakfast. In the leadup to your big day, we will invite you to The Manor for a complimentary food tasting session – this is when you will decide on your selection of canapes and your three course wedding breakfast. All of our food is prepped in-house by our expert team and is of the highest quality. A Manor cheese board is a very popular extra to complement desserts! Half a bottle of wine per guest is included in our package, so there should be plenty to go around!
The Lytton Strachey suite is a spacious and versatile banqueting hall with a capacity of 130 seated guests. It features an abundance of natural daylight, direct access to the grounds and it’s own private bar.
Following your delicious food, your Champagne flutes will be replenished in time for speeches and toasts to the happy couple.
At this point, we will ask you to step outside the Lytton Strachey suite so that we can prepare for your evening reception. Don’t worry though! Your guests will have access to a separate private bar as well as a tea & coffee station.
Once your DJ or live band has finished setting up, it’s time for your evening reception and of course, your first dance as a married couple! Your evening guests can enjoy a Manor Evening Buffet and of course, a slice of your lovely wedding cake!
Alternatively, you can swap your Manor Evening Buffet for a hog roast. Our hog roasts use 60kg pigs, which are cooked throughout the day, carved in front of your guests and served with all the trimmings, including crackling, apple sauce and a variety of salads! Delicious.
Your evening reception will end at midnight. If you want to have one last drink with your family and guests, we can open a private bar in our restaurant until 1am - provided your group is mindful of other guests who may be staying in the hotel.
With 57 comfortable rooms in the hotel, there is no need for carriages. The newlyweds will retire to our amazing honeymoon suite, which features it’s own private jacuzzi! In the morning, you can enjoy a full English breakfast with all of your overnight guests – the perfect end to an unforgettable weekend!
