With just one wedding each day, you can exchange or renew your vows in the majestic surroundings of The Orangery, host reception drinks in the Painted Hall or on the Terrace and celebrate your wedding breakfast with loved ones in an historic Tithe Barn.

Whether you're entering into your first marriage, a civil partnership, renewing your vows or preparing for your second marriage, Great Fosters offers the perfect location for your special day. Overlooking the majestic beauty of the Magnolia lawn and gardens, The Orangery is the perfect choice for a sun-drenched celebration. The tall, arched windows ensure that there is plenty of natural daylight for you and your guests to enjoy.

The hotel is also licensed for outdoor ceremonies. The Archery Pavilion is located in the heart of the picturesque gardens and serves perfectly as a stunning backdrop for those all important wedding photographs. During the ceremony the wedding couple and registrars will stand inside the Archery Pavilion, whilst guests are seated on the lawn in front.

Our Tithe Barn is a Grade II listed barn that features stunning exposed vaulted English oak beams, 8 light casement windows with stone mullions and a roaring open fire. The Tithe Barn is a wonderfully romantic wedding setting. Guests will enjoy reception drinks in the beautiful adjacent Painted Hall, with its own fireplace and bar or in the summer on the terrace.

You are welcome to have a band or DJ in the evening in the Orangery or a DJ in the Tithe barn with the Painted Hall used as a bar area. In the evening the hotel has its own wood fired pizza oven and who doesn't like a freshly baked pizza? Just select the flavours for your menu and the talented chefs will make pizzas to order.

The gardens at Great Fosters are truly unique and extend for 50 acres. There are endless spots for photographs including the listed parterres, a saxon moat with Japanese bridge, circular rose garden with sunken lily pond, four intimate yew gardens, a lake, lawns and a grassed amphitheatre.

Great Fosters offers a truly bespoke service with all items priced separately. You can literally build your own package, selecting exactly what you would like to have on your day. The experienced wedding team will help you plan your day and ensure that every little detail has been thought of.

The hotel has a wonderful selection of 53 bedrooms & suites and a discount will be extended to all wedding guests. The Queen Anne Suite is included in the room hire charge for the bride & groom on their wedding night. The Queen Anne has a large four poster bedroom and sitting room whilst the bathroom is decorated in a 1920s style with a stunning silver roll top bath and separate rainfall shower.
