Originally opened in 1854, this Grade II listed building was formerly known as the Low-Level Train Station in Wolverhampton. It was jointly built by the Oxford, Worcester, and Wolverhampton (OWWR) and Great Western Railway (GWR), on their route from London Paddington to Birkenhead via Birmingham Snow Hill.

The frontage of the building was originally designed by engineer Sir John Fowler, the rack work by Mr Henry Robertson and the roof and layout by Mr Isambard Kingdom Brunel. Mr Isambard Kingdom Brunel is considered ‘one of the most ingenious and prolific figures in engineering history’ and was voted second in ‘100 greatest Britons’ poll run by the BBC in 2002.

The station building is two storeys high and constructed of Staffordshire blue brick in Italianate style.

Being that it’s my first time getting married or working with a wedding planner, I have not been giving any guidance or agenda for the coming months leading up to my big day. When I contact my wedding planner, they take days to respond and they don’t follow through with actions we’ve agreed on. I feel alone in the planning even though I’m paying for their services.
