Fairyhill by Oldwalls is a picturesque grade two listed Georgian house, set within 24 acres of glorious Gower gardens. In 2017 the iconic property reopened its grand old doors to unveil its awe-inspiring extension and renovation, adding the ultimate pinch of 21st century cool to the infamous Gower landmark. Fairyhill is owned and operated by the Oldwalls Collection, the renowned luxury wedding venue specialists.

Fairyhill is based in the heart of Gower, Britain’s 1stdesignated area of outstanding natural beauty. Award winning beaches are just a stone’s throw away should you wish to escape for an hour and capture unique moments you will cherish forever using the Gower landscape. This is popular with couples during the drinks reception and evening change over.

Fairyhill boasts a unique combination of contemporary and traditional architecture combining ‘something old and something new’ to offer a fairy-tale venue that truly lives up to its name. The venue offers two stylish bars, a traditional Georgian lounge, a gents lounge, garden room, luxury accommodation, and the ‘piece de resistance’ its K Room, the new modern extension designed especially to host ceremonies and your wedding breakfast.

The K Room offers a sleek, contemporary glass space, licenced for civil ceremonies, with breath-taking panoramic views of the venue’s listed heritage grounds, complete with rolling lawns, walled garden, enchanting woodland and glistening lakes. The K Room can host up to 150 of your wedding guests in the day for your lavish wedding meal.

Gower has a variety of churches and places of worship on its doorstep for those wishing to have a more traditional wedding service, all of which are only a short drive away from Fairyhill.

The food on your fork matters

The venue's reputation for excellence doesn't just extend to the location, Fairyhill has become renowned for offering restaurant quality food despite the banquet style of a wedding. Lead by our in-house critically acclaimed head chef Chris Keenan, and his team, each dish is freshly prepared using the finest local produce where feasible. Think the best Welsh beef from the local village butchers and vegetable picked from our very own Gower garden. Menus are five course as standard to offer a food tasting experience that will leave a memorable taste.

Accommodation

Fairyhill sleeps up to 40 guests including a beautiful honeymoon suite. All rooms are exclusive to you and your wedding party so you can sleep off a night of excitement and dancing and fully enjoy the destination wedding experience. A full Welsh breakfast is served the next day
