Here, you can mingle with loved ones and watch as the sun sets over the horizon. Receptions that run long into the night can then unfold in the Garden Room. Complete with a private terrace, this area has ample space for up to 100 people as well as a dance floor and live entertainment. I love this venue, the hospitality that the staff provide sets us apart from our rivals. So much so that I got married here in 2015 so aswell as experience operationally I have also experienced it from a customers viewpoint.

Get married as close to 1.30 as you can - this makes the day "flow" wonderfully!
It is important to consider the time your wedding breakfast is being served and how long it might be since your guests last ate. Consider offering canapes at the drinks reception to help...

We delayed our wedding for a year because of covid! My god was it worth the wait.
Because of this it meant we had lots of visits to the hotel in the run up to the wedding and a cheeky spa break, after booking it as our venue. Every time we came to the hotel we fell in love with it more and more.
I stayed with my bridle party the night before the wedding, we had a lovely meal in the bar it was very relaxed and the staff took very good care of us. Especially T who kept the prosecco flowing and who had a brilliant sense of humour.
Our wedding day was the most perfect magical day we could have wished for. We had breakfast in the room while getting ready which was brilliant. Chris took very good care of us all during the run up to the wedding. Again great sense of humour, which really calmed the nerves.
All our family and friends had a brilliant time and everyone commented on the food and how amazing and friendly the staff were. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The staff made it so personal with Chris and T being around most of the day checking in on us at all times.
The day after the wedding we used the spa with family, it was lovely and relaxing just what we needed after a busy day the day before. We all then stayed for a Sunday roast in our own private room, again made very personal to us with T looking after us all and putting our wedding flowers on the middle of the table. The Sunday roast was the best Sunday roast we have ever had.
When organising the wedding Josh was always on hand to help. I must have emailed 1000s of times, nothing went without a reply.
We had a vision and the staff at fairlawns really did make that vision a reality, they dressed the tables for me with our own decorations. Even assembled the cheese cake we provided.
The morning after we even had help packing things away.
We would like to personally thank Josh, T , Chris,
Becky and all the reception staff you are all amazing.
We will definitely be back every year most likely on our anniversary to use the spa and definitely a Sunday roast. And anything inbetween if we can.
We would do it all again if we could, we would 100% recommend Fairlawns as a wedding venue.
