When not working, or being teased by Emilie & Zach (his children), Neil likes to travel to new exciting places, trying the local food, enjoying the drinks and staying over – the full staycation experience! Neil’s dream would have been the one to invent the internet, but he didn’t have google to help him… In 2012 Neil got married at the Egypt Mill, so the place holds a special spot in his heart. Neil has worked for Brakspear since 2016 and has been the General Manger of the Egypt Mill since March 2020.

Neil the general manager has been an excellent help so far with all the information we need. He has been extremely accommodating with all my needs. The hotel has been beautiful every time we have visited and I cannot wait for all the upgrades to be complete and share my special day with all the lovely staff I have met so far!

Since COVID has hit, we have unfortunately had to postpone our wedding twice already, however the new operations manager, Sophie has been brilliant at communicating with us and reassuring us!
We just can’t wait to finally marry at this beautiful venue!
