Droitwich - formally Droitwich Spa - is 22 miles south of Birmingham in the county of Worcestershire and just 12 miles west of Redditch. It’s the home of Hanbury Hall, the Avoncroft Museum of Historic Buildings and a lovely little Lido Park families tend to use.


The River Salwarpe runs through Droitwich and town itself is on massive deposits of salt. The natural brine of Droitwich is ten times stronger than sea water and rivalled only by the Dead Sea!
