Only 5 minutes from Northampton town centre but set within beautiful parkland, Delapre Abbey can cater for weddings from 5-500 guests in our stunning restored Victorian Bouverie rooms taking advantage of the views of the south lawn.
Now transformed into a luxury wedding and events venue, the Abbey boasts a number of elegant spaces for your celebration, with 8 beautifully restored licenced ceremony rooms that can also accommodate your wedding breakfast and evening party, there is something to suit everyone.
We don’t offer set packages at Delapre Abbey, we understand that your day should be unique and our dedicated events team are available to ensure that the day is tailored to your individual needs as we find that no two weddings are ever the same.
Our chefs are happy to discuss your catering needs and work with you to guarantee your wedding breakfast is everything you imagined and more.
The Abbey has a range of stunning photographic opportunities available – the walled garden, the parkland, the grand staircase, Victorian tiled hallway and for group shots our courtyard is sure to be a favourite.

The staff and especially Amanda have been amazing throughout and have really gone above and beyond to make our day perfect
Adele and Amanda got the venue specifics spot on and I have received so many compliments about the food (both the wedding breakfast and evening bbq)
All in all you have a great team who are absolute assets to you so please pass on our thanks and gratitude for giving us a day we will never forget

The actual building is a privilege to get married in and I loved having four rooms for the day. This meant that there were no awkward waits whilst the rooms were being reorganised and it also meant that you didn’t need to be sat in a disco in the evening if you wanted a bit of peace. The location provided a beautiful backdrop for our photos too and we loved having outside space for the evening BBQ.
I cannot recommend this venue enough for your special day and I am so grateful to the staff for making our day so memorable.
