Located on a private estate, in the North West of Cumbria, the Castletown Woodland Wedding & Events venue nestles between the lake district and Gretna providing the perfect location if you are looking for a place to get married which is not your traditional wedding venue. You would be getting married surrounded by nature. We will help you design and create your dream ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening celebration in an environment away from a hotel or typical wedding venue. Hidden in the secluded woodland area is an historic dovecote, licensed for official wedding ceremonies as well as blessings or humanist ceremonies. After the ceremony, you will enjoy a fully catered event in the stunning tipis, decorated with flowers, festoon lights and beautiful wooden carvings. There is a fully licensed bar, made from reclaimed wood, which will be stocked with a selection of local produce as well as a choice of your favourite brands.
As night falls the venue comes alive with twinkling fairy lights, uplighted trees, and the crackling of fire pits, perfect for roasting marshmallows and warming your toes.
