Casterley Barn is a luxury, sustainable wedding venue. Part of the Rushall Organics estate in Wiltshire, Casterley represents a new style of wedding venue, where sustainability and elegance combine.
The venue, originally an old cattle shed, has been converted in to a unique and captivating space suitable for the most stylish of couples. Taking in stunning views of the Vale of Pewsey and the surrounding organic farmland, Casterley Barn holds up to 150 people for a wedding reception and up to 100 for a wedding ceremony – including the chance to get married outside amidst the breath-taking backdrop. And with the space and flexibility to create the most whimsical weddings – from glamping villages to festival vibes – Casterley is truly a blank canvas upon which to design a totally unique celebration.
The stylish, fully licensed bar is stocked with artisan spirits, organic wines and ales- and the Casterley Bar team are on hand to design a bespoke menu just for the happy couple and their guests. Director of Events, Rachel Davies, who grew up on the farm surrounding Casterley, also offers wedding planning services for those clients who want a little extra help in creating their special day.
However, it is not just the style of the venue that is so captivating, Casterley exemplifies a modern events venue - built using eco-friendly techniques and running entirely ‘off grid’, generating much of its energy through the use of solar power and a biomass boiler.

As part of Rushall Organics, a working organic farm in its 5th generation, the ‘Green Journey’ started when the Wookey family looked at diversification of the land. Rachel says “Sustainability has always been at the heart of what we do at Rushall so naturally It was on our mind when we built Casterley. We wanted to build a space with little impact on the environment and that celebrated the incredible views and surrounding countryside. We are committed to promoting sustainability in our practices whilst still giving our clients an exceptional service for their events.”

Rachel Davies (nee Wookey) is Director of Events at Casterley Barn and grew up on the Rushall Organics Estate. She honed her skills in the London events market before returning home to set up Casterley Barn with her family. Rachel's warm personality and calm demeanour make hosting events at Casterley Barn easy and enjoyable. With her years of industry experience accompanied by a meticulous attention to detail, you can relax in the knowledge that every element of your event will be perfectly coordinated. In addition to managing Casterley Barn, Rachel also offers event planning and management services -from full event concept design and management to just a few extra hours of support.
