Carrick Castle Estate is a blank canvas with character - design your own day the way you want it on Scotland's West Coast

The newly built lodge and barn on the estate provide a fantastic space to celebrate your special day with family and friends. No destination wedding is complete without 'wows' from the guests, and we provide these without even trying! The location does the talking for us - lochs, hills and glens, golden eagles flying overhead, trees surrounding you... The luxury accommodation offering an outdoor hot tub and indoor steam room ensure your guests are relaxed and well take care of. Choose the rustic barn to host your big day or opt for a marquee or quirky tipi and make the most of having the important people in your lives around you. There's no package a, b, or c to choose from here - your day is bespoke to suit you, exclusive-use and totally unique, just like you!

To all our future brides and grooms, welcome to Carrick Castle Estate. We are a unique, alternative and quirky venue where you can make your day your own. I am here to help and guide you from the moment of enquiry throughout the planning process, to the big day itself. Rest assured that a blank canvas DIY venue doesn't mean hard work - what it does mean is that you have complete control of your day and who does what, which is super handy when it comes to budgeting. Make the most of your creative family members, an auntie who is fantastic at florals, or a brother who can bake. Or opt to hire in our recommended professionals to plan your day for you. Either way, we will ensure that the vision of your day becomes reality.

Our venue is perfect. It's scenic and quiet making it the most romantic and idyllic setting to get married in. The staff are super friendly too and are as excited as you are about the big day

Whimsical, remote dream.

Firstly, the staff at Carrick Castle Estate are so wonderfully helpful and enthusiastic in an authentic way. I felt so at ease in my planning process with them. They are super accommodating and genuinely happy for us as a couple and and excited for our plans.

The venue itself has the most idyllic Scottish backdrop of mountains, with a breathtaking view of the Loch. You can choose easily between a big and a small wedding at this venue and there's plenty space to create whatever vibe you were searching for. I am so excited for our Loch view ceremony and rustic barn reception. This venue allows a blank canvas so dreaming up all the ways to decorate every day!

Out of This World!

Where to start here I’m not sure ! Maybe with five stars *****

I cannot recommend Carrick Castle Estate enough. The lodge is out of this world beautiful. When you stay there it’s like a dream. We stayed 4 nights over our wedding with our bridal party and used the houses around for our families. Hannah and Darius are so warm and welcoming that it really puts you at ease. Not only is the Lodge beautiful but it comes with the best hosts! There was nothing better than sitting out the back balcony that over looks the mountains on the morning of my wedding, having a few glasses of fizz watching the birds of prey. The beauty of scottish wilderness and wildlife right there while you are in the comfort of the Luxury lodge.

The whole process of wedding planning was very easy and hannah was helpful in every way she could be. There were so many options for us on the day! We had such a great time and the weather was great so we got our outdoor wedding! Darius even took us both up the hill in the tank to get some cool photos. Legend!

We already can’t wait to go back up to the lodge.

The Perfect Small and Intimate Relaxed Day

After booking our wedding with 8 weeks to go with Carrick Castle Hannah done everything to make sure our day was perfect! We chose to have a small wedding with 14 people and have the wedding in the lodge however having seen the barn and marquee space i would recommend this venue for all sizes of weddings! We had the most relaxed day ever it was just perfect! The views are out of this world just look at the pictures my photographer took which have been shared on the page. We were lucky enough to have our wedding on the Lodge balcony with the beautiful views in the background. We couldnt have asked for anything more! Thank you for everything xxx

Luxury Hen Weekend

We had the most amazing time at Carrick Castle Lodge for my hen weekend. Hannah was a fantastic host & really made us feel welcome. The lodge itself is the nicest house I've ever set foot in. The attention to detail is incredible & everything you need has been thought of. We had perfect weather for a hillwalk and relaxing in the hot tub afterwards. I cannot wait to return!

Our Guests Were Blown Away

"My husband and I got married at Carrick Castle Estate in April and it was a truly magical weekend. We had a marquee out on the front lawn to make the most of the view and boy, did it not disappoint! All of our guests were blown away by the location and the lodge itself is one of the most luxurious places I've ever stayed. Hannah and Darius were so accommodating and so helpful, we couldn't have asked for better hosts. It was so wonderful being able to stay on site with all of our families in both the lodge and the surrounding houses, it made the whole weekend that much more special. We can't wait to all come back for the next big family party!"

New Year's Stay

Carrick Castle Estate is a real treat for those looking for a luxurious stay in a stunning lodge. Memories of New Year’s Day will stay with me for a long time: waking up after the night before to glorious sunshine rising up over the loch, trundling up the mountain side in the truck and enjoying sensational 360’ views from the sea to the mountains and lochs as we walked back down to the lodge to enjoy a very welcome tub and sauna. Thank you so much to Hannah and Darius and their fantastic Team for helping to ensure we made the most of our get away on the Carrick Estate.

Incredible and Magic

Oh it was honestly the most incredible day / weekend of our lives. The lodge is just incredible and the photos we saw online before just don't capture quite how amazing it is!! The setting is stunning and we got married at the Eagle bowl - some of our guests said it felt like magic was coming out of the ground!!
