We are a small wedding venue situated in the North of Nottinghamshire, in Mansfield. An 1804 building situated on a beautiful park, Carr Bank. Fully modernised and refurbished over the past year.
Carr Bank Manor was built in 1804 for one of the most prestigious families in Mansfield.
Completely refurbished with a contemporary look and feel, the Manor is a wonderful venue to host your most special of days.
The grounds are extensive, enabling photographic opportunities in the bandstand, the Victorian greenhouse and the rose arbour as well as beautiful tree lined parkland for those amazing photographic shots.
Your Ceremony
Your wedding ceremony is the pinnacle of your special day and everything has to be perfect. We have created a new, beautiful ceremony room that brings together traditional elements from the original grandeur of the Manor and fabulous contemporary decor.
The ceremony room will be dressed by us or your venue dresser exactly as you want it to be. You will design your own look and feel for your big day, using your own colour scheme and any other features that you would like to add, for example, storm lanterns, flower walls, rose petals on the floor.
Your guests will be seated in the ceremony room before the bride makes her grand entrance accompanied by bridesmaids and page boys, ring bearers, the matron of honour and the person who is giving her away.
The music is being played exactly to your playlist and the bridegroom and groomsmen wait nervously for the bride to arrive at the wedding dais.
The registrar or celebrant greets you both and you announce your vows to each other, culminating in that first, amazing, married embrace.
Your Wedding Breakfast
Here at Carr Bank wedding venue, we are fully committed to bringing you the best on your wedding day. Your wedding breakfast is a stunning celebration of your marriage and each course is meticulously and exclusively planned so that you and your guests will be truly happy.
Your menu will reflect the food that you love, because your day will be filled with love.
Everything is made in our kitchens, with personal menu tasting options and wine to complement.
Your Evening Event
Your evening event is a beautiful opportunity for your extended friends and family to join your wedding celebrations. An evening of music, dancing and celebrations that everyone will enjoy. A well stocked bar and an incredible smorgasbord of delicious foods that all of your guests will truly appreciate.
You will be able to choose your evening buffet food from the menus prepared by our Head Chef. You can choose the foods that will be most appreciated by your guests at the price point that is right for you.
Again, everything is freshly prepared in-house, so it is straightforward for us to adapt the menus for you, if needed.
There will be food especially for children to enjoy, as well as a separate area of the buffet for those with dietary requirements or allergies.
Our bar is stocked with great quality wines, spirits and beers, and a cocktail menu can be designed for your wedding evening event - you can even name your own cocktail!
We have our resident DJ, who can provide incredible music, to your play list and TVs that can show pictures of your wedding day. Confetti canons, dry ice (first dance on a cloud), dance floor’s and more.
The deputy wedding co-ordinator will be fully available to you throughout the evening event of your wedding.

I am delighted to be a part of this recently renovated, 200 year old building with a new, exciting and modern look to this amazing place! I am completely dedicated to helping couples create their fairytale.
