Capel Manor is set within 30-acres of gardens with a variety of licensed outdoor and indoor locations. Truly unique, you can be sure that whichever setting you choose, your ceremony will take place in one of the most beautiful outdoor wedding locations in North London.

Capel Manor is perfect for couples looking for a countryside escape whilst still being close to the city, and boasts a rich history that dates back to the 13th century. Our 30-acre estate provides the perfect backdrop for wedding ceremonies and photographs in all seasons throughout the year.

Capacity
We host civil ceremonies, wedding blessings, commitment ceremonies and standing drinks receptions for intimate ceremonies or larger parties up to 150 guests.

Venues
Capel Manor is licensed for both outdoor and indoor ceremonies. You can choose from a variety of outdoor locations, all charming in their own way. Alternatively we have rooms in the Manor House for indoor ceremonies and winter weddings.

Our experienced Events team will be on hand throughout the planning process and on the big day.

Availability

Timings
Spaces available to hire during Gardens’ opening hours. Access is from 10am until 5pm, with guests departing no later than 4.30pm.

Our packages are highly affordable, and all bookings directly support our College and Gardens.


Old Manor House Garden
Originally opened by Queen Elizabeth II, the Old Manor House Garden seats up to 80 guests. The romantic Chapel ruins are adorned with winding ivy and climbing roses, giving a rustic fairy-tale feel. It is easy to see why this is such a unique and popular setting.


17th Century Garden
Secluded at the far end of the south-west side of the Gardens, and draped in white roses in the summer months, is the 17th Century Garden which seats up to 110 guests. Enjoy the privacy of the surrounding fern hedging with the woodland trees as your backdrop.


The Manor House
The back lawn of the Manor House is ideal for up to 150 guests, where Capel Manor provides an impressive focal point that exudes historic elegance. Inside, the main room provides a traditional setting for indoor ceremonies and winter weddings of up to 75 guests.


Wedding photography

Our delightful grounds are the perfect location for wedding photoshoots, being a popular choice for local wedding photographers and videographers to enjoy lush greenery and colourful blooms.

Located in Enfield, North London, and on the borders of Hertfordshire, Middlesex and Essex, Capel Manor is easily accessible to surrounding areas and close to central London. Our estate is less than five minutes from junction 25 of the M25 and we have ample free parking available.
