There is a wonderful intimacy about Bury Court Barn that provides the individual atmosphere for a truly special wedding.

The Barn can be divided with elegant long curtains to transform the gallery end into an ideal setting for your ceremony. The ceremony area can comfortably seat up to 150 family and friends and there is plenty of space for musicians - a string quartet or harpist can be a wonderful addition to the ceremony.

Our rustic wedding gazebo is located alongside the Barn and offers a tranquil setting for outdoor ceremonies, weather permitting. The gazebo is fully equipped for sound and the area offers plenty of space for your guests to be seated.

The main hall of The Barn is where it all happens! When the curtains open there is a real 'wow' moment when your guests see your wedding breakfast set-up for the first time. The central area, filled with your dining tables, looks beautiful and welcoming with the fairy lights entwining the old beams. There's ample space for the bar area, an evening buffet and even enticing extras like a chocolate fountain or Pick-and-Mix table.

The round tables seat 8-10 comfortably and there are long tables for a traditional head table and buffets. Jacaranda Catering will provide all the linen and tableware. The Barn has a purpose built freestanding bar which can be placed in various locations. The Barn is fully heated in winter and remarkably cosy even on the coldest days but light and breezy in the summer months.

The catering at Bury Court Barn is provided by Jacaranda Catering. They have an excellent reputation and a range of wonderful, delicious menus for you to choose from. Their staff will expertly organise every aspect of your wedding catering, from canapés, wedding breakfasts and evening buffets to champagne, crockery and cake stands.

One of the most important features of Bury Court is the beautiful walled garden created by the Dutch designer Piet Oudolf. As a show garden it specialises in grasses and hardy perennials and, at any time of the year, provides a perfect setting for your reception, the lush greens of spring changing into rich autumn colours in October.

The Oast House provides the perfect 'home from home' for the day, offering brides somewhere comfortable to get ready. There is plenty of space for bridesmaids and family members to prepare as well - and sometimes it is just a delightful refuge in a stressful day.
