Bolton Castle really is one of a kind. It is a proper castle with battlements, a cobbled courtyard and working portcullis.
From the moment you arrive it is a wow factor for you and your guests. There are open fires and a variety of rooms to suit any size of wedding from a small intimate wedding of 10 to a larger wedding of up to 120 guests.
There are no rules about what time you have to get married or in what order you want your day to run. We will work with you to ensure your dreams and ideas come to life.
The Solar is the most popular ceremony room and you can even have your wedding rings delivered by our resident Barn Owl. There are beautiful gardens for photographs and the wedding breakfast is usually in the Great Chamber.
We have a licence until midnight and you can dance the night away with a band, disco and even a ceilidh.

Thank you so so much for letting us host our wedding with you at the Castle - such a fabulous venue and yourself and the others are just brilliant. Nothing was ever too much trouble and it made organising a big event like that so easy and stress free.
On the day, your team worked tirelessly to ensure everyone was in the right place at the right time and that we had everything that we needed, everyone was patient and not intrusive. Debbie especially was brilliant and her attention to detail with my dress, holding my bouquet etc was really lovely and appreciated.
