Herne Bay has been such a special location for me and my family and now my partner. We could not envisage getting married anywhere other than Herne Bay and the beach hut. As soon as we met Kirsty, we fell in love with the venue and location even more. She is a superhero, a brilliant human with such a wonderful attitude. We can’t wait to make Herne Bay even more special by spending our special day there.

It's crazy how quickly time is going until me and my fiancée get married. The beach hut venue we chose was perfect for us as we wanted a small, relaxed, seaside wedding.. as soon as we saw the venue we knew it was perfect for us. Kirsty was so welcoming and answered all of our questions. Highly recommended.

Beach Hut Weddings is a smaller venue in relation to its numbers but a huge venue in what it can offer.

I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a mostly outdoors chilled wedding! Kirsty is absolutely brilliant and will help to bring all your ideas to life! The venue is also reasonably priced so you can keep the cost down if needs be or add on a few extras to make it even more fabulous. It’s really hard to put into words how amazing this venue truly is!

I’ve re read my review and realised that I haven’t actually explained why this venue is so amazing and what I would of wanted to of known about it before booking!

We had been engaged for a couple of years and I just couldn’t find a venue I wanted, not that I was really looking. I knew I wanted something a little different and didn’t want to spend a fortune. I found Beach Hut Weddings on Facebook and seen that someone I knew had got married there. So I looked at every photo and realised it was ON A PIER! And there were beautiful sea views. So I contacted Kirsty and she got back to me and we arranged a viewing! Kirsty showed us around and explained how the day could be but explained each wedding day is always different as there were so many things that could be done on the pier, she didn’t force us to make a decision there and then and was open and honest about the cost! We walked away and arranged to call her in a few day late but we got to the end of the pier and quickly walked back to book! It was perfect! It was different, it was fun and it wasn’t formal!

We had regular contact and meetings with Kirsty where we booked everything in and confirmed the plans… she was always easy to get hold of and answered all the questions we had!

Then for the day! She was there for EVERYTHING you needed! EVERYTHING… she even brought food for the crabs to make sure the guests caught some! Nothing was too much trouble and she did it with a smile, the rest of the team were exactly the same! They worked so hard to make sure everything was perfect for us and they truly succeeded! From taking photos for the guests, to making sure everyone had blankets in the evening (remember it’s mostly outside) and always making sure myself and my husband had food and drinks!
We had our ceremony in the beach hut but the rest of the wedding was mostly outside… it was a gamble on the weather but if it did rain, Kirsty and the team were ready with gazebos and yes it rained… not for long but just before the ceremony so they made sure all the guests had umbrellas and were under cover! After the ceremony we had a drink and some snacks before going to the arcades. We came back to the pier and sat down for our food… fish and chips and it was delicious, followed by our speeches. Then the real fun started, we hired the carousel and helter skelter for an hour just as the evening guest started to arrive whilst Kirsty and the gang gave out hot donuts and brownie and ice cream! We had a live band in the evening and there was plenty of space to dance as well as sit and chat all under the stars! The evening food was pizza and burgers and this was brought out as it was cooked fresh and given to the guests. It was amazing. So many people commented on what a fun time they had and how different it was from other weddings they had been too… and with this venue yours could be so different from the wedding we had as with Kirsty and Beach Hut Weddings you explain your vision to Kirsty and she makes it happen (all within a few heath and safety rules of course)… if your not sure if this is the venue for you, go down and visit Beach Hut Weddings and see what you think!!
