Bake Barn in South Wiltshire, is a renovated shooting lodge located north of the A303. It is remote, rustic and charming, located up a private track, set within its own walled perimeter. There are no neighbours, there's parking, camping and no curfew.
Bake Barn is an understated venue where you can create your perfect day. The natural beauty of the building is exposed with its stone walls, timber rafters and wooden floor. Dress, drape and hang decorations as you see fit. We offer a 3 day, dry hire.
Bake Barn is offered on an exclusive use, dry hire basis. This means for the duration of your hire, you have time to set up, party and pack away. Dry Hire means that we don't insist on who caters, nor how you run the bar. It's your venue, yours alone.
Bake Barn is licenced for civil ceremonies. Marry inside the hall, upstairs in the Beaters Loft or outside under The Loggia. You can decide depending on the weather or your guest numbers but we are fully versatile - you can even wed beside the lake.
Bake Barn can comfortably accommodate 100 guests inside seated for dinner and up to 200 for the evening reception. If you wanted to put a marquee up inside the courtyard, you could invite 300 of your closest friends. The venue also works for 50 or so.
Bake Barn is part of the Fonthill Estate and we have two other gorgeous venues for wedding celebrations. Deer Park Barn is idyllic for micro-weddings, those smaller gatherings whereas Quay Wood is an enchanting site lake side for a fully outdoor party.
