Four generations of a local farming family have been involved in the two year project to transform the historic barns, into an unforgettable place to hold your wedding day.
It's tucked away in 100 acres of farmland, Avalen nestles in amongst the rolling countryside and rambling hedgerows. The beautiful set of barns have been sympathetically converted to retain their original beauty and charm for the most romantic wedding.
As a family run business we are proud to be able to offer that personal touch, helping to craft a unique, flexible and relaxed occasion for you and your guests.
As a lifetime memory to mark each wedding, an apple tree is planted alongside the ancient woodlands at the venue named Avalen which is Cornish for Apple Tree.
Wether you dream of a romantic courtyard, a ceremony room with amazing views of Helman Tor or a Big Barn with unrivalled views of outstanding natural beauty, we can provide a wedding as special as the vows you are making.

Meet the Wedding Coordinator
Meg will be with you from the start of the process all the way up to your wedding day. She will be on hand if you ever have any questions you can email her at any time and she will come back to you as soon as she can. Meg has a rescue springer spaniel called Bramble who sometimes comes to work with her, so if you do book a viewing he may be here too.

Our venue is absolutely beautiful and clare is absolutely fab. She answers any questions we have and nothing seems to much to ask! We are so excited to get married there in the rustic beautiful granit barn, followed by the beautiful reception barn. Large wooden tables with benches. Absolutely divine. It’s also a weekend stay which I think is incredible
