Beautiful venues and amazing staff, they're so helpful and it's so lovely when we go to wedding fayres and they recognise us and our little boy, they really care about their couples

NEGATIVE HONEST REVIEW.... The woodland setting is naturally beautiful, and with not many venues offering this, it was a selling point. Managing staff, the brunette, extremely rude. All the setting up was left to us apart from the minimal effort from staff on table decorations, all supplied by bride and groom. We was told if we needed help setting anything up it needs to be done by 11pm the night before, no staff came to collect the decorations or let us know the prom had finished so we could decorate the tables if we wished.
Accommodation, pods were all hired out, at least six months prior to the wedding. The night before the wedding, we arrived with the bride (2 adults & 2 children), and stayed in the bridal suite. We had to pay £400 damage deposit, all extra charges mounting up by this point. Upon entering the pod, which unfortunately had NOT been cleaned prior to our arrival, we discovered broken glass and prescription medication on the floor, extremely dangerous. We only had two towels, despite staff being informed that there would be a total of four in the bridal pod the night before the wedding. No sofa bed set up, even though £25 was paid for this.
Bar staff charging different amounts for drinks as the night went on, obviously staff felt they could take advantage once guests were under the influence of alcohol and assumed it would go unnoticed. Food served all in good time so all guests ate together. Despite having chosen meal options months in advance and All Manor being informed of my allergies, on the day, staff approached and said the pudding I had chosen is no longer suitable for me, surely the chef was aware of ingredients long before the wedding day, this happened with two guests. The alternatives were not to the same standard of the original food requested. Thankfully I was made aware of the ingredients and didn’t have an allergic reaction as I don’t have confidence the staff would know what to do in such an situation. Management need to rectify menu’s and make clear the ingredients and not approach guests on the day, poor organisation, one would assume All Manor use the same suppliers and are aware of ingredients.
Security guard come first aider was helpful.
Not all of the bride and grooms items were returned, the staff put everything in the corner of the dining room after the wedding so we could collect in the morning, it wasn’t until the bride was home that she realised items were missing.
At 5pm on the wedding evening we requested our key for the ‘Bean’ pod which we had hired. We was then rudely informed we must pay £200 damage deposit before All Manor Of Events will release our key, there was no disclosure of this additional payment before we arrived. Management claim the bride and groom received this information but again, management are being dishonest and lying. When paying the £200 damage deposit, we was told once the cleaners came at 10am and confirmed the pod was fine, that the deposit would then be returned, 10 o’clock came and went, we was told the cleaners weren’t in yet, so it would be the next day, in total we waited nine days for our deposit to be returned, All Manor claim it was the fault of the bank, but they just pass the buck and refuse to accept liability.
We paid additional £25 for sofa bed to be ‘made up’ in our pod, only for us to enter our pod and discover the sofa bed had not been set up, you pay £25 for the sheet and pillow which is stored under the sofa, and you are required to set up the sofa bed yourself, not something you want to be doing after a long day, again, more misinformation. The Bean pod was also not cleaned prior to our arrival, needs dusting and floor cleaned, bathroom looked as though it had a quick wipe over, minimal effort.
Having received my bank statement, it would appear I also have unknown transaction on my account, the only time I used my card was to pay the £200 damage deposit, so this fraudulent transaction has been logged with the bank and they are investigating.
If management changed their attitudes, actually employed a cleaner for the pods and was honest and upfront about their pricing, our experience would have been much better. The venue is beautiful but the staff, especially management staff let this venue down, I do not recommend.

This was an easy snd speedy competition to join thank you so much. Keeping our fingers crossed we get lucky as we are also going through IVf and it has been a long hard road.

From the moment we arrived and every visit since we have fallen in love with this venue.

The best day, the venue was absolutely stunning, the staff were amazing and everything ran so smoothly. I couldn’t have pictured getting married anywhere else and I’m so grateful to have found this venue! Unlike most others this was so “magical” that’s the only way I can describe it. The Venue is stunning. We are getting married in the barn and having our reception in the marquee lined barn. We've visited a couple of times and found the team to be very helpful. Really excited for our wedding
